For the last few weeks I've been keeping spirits up at Gisburn Road School with a weekly online awards and birthdays ceremony, plus a special one-off virtual photo booth and selfie gallery on their end of term 'Uniform Day'.

There are various new ways for both key workers' children and the children at home to connect with their teachers and classmates. I've also built tools that pupils and parents can use to access home learning activities and to send in their work, photos and reports.

Pages on the school website - hosted by Craven Digital on our North of England-based web server - have been used over 20,000 times in just three weeks.

It's with a heavy heart that we've been tucking several websites into bed today. Several of our tourism clients - all fellow family-owned businesses - are closing their doors due to COVID-19 and need to put things into hibernation until it's time to wake up.

Booking systems, ticket sales, appointment diaries, events listings and advertising are all going to bed for a while, with full redirections and correct search engine listings in place to avoid confusion and mischarging.

If your business is battening down the hatches and you need a hand tidying up its online presence, get in touch. With our children off school we're working reduced hours but we are still here and will do our best to help.

There are lots of features to make it easier for children and families to access their class's new home learning packs... plus children can easily send completed work, photos and projects to their teachers.
