TEDxBath returned to The Forum on Saturday 14 October providing a spectacular event with 9 diverse speakers, 3 lively acts, and engaging exhibitions under the theme of ‘Unlimited’. The afternoon was packed with ‘ideas worth sharing’ and delivered another uplifting and energetic event for a participatory audience of 1,600 people of all ages.

TEDxBath’s speakers explored and shared ideas that can enrich lives, and help build stronger, thriving communities. Bringing together diverse and powerful ideas from leading change-makers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and activists dismantled barriers to positive change, define new possibilities, and boldly seek a better future world. The theme for the TEDxBath 2023 was 'Unlimited'.

Radio Bath were thrilled to be Media Partners and Loraine's events team were delighted to support the event providing presenters who interviewed the various guests speaker.

29th June to 2nd July saw the incredible Bath Boules, each year the Bath Boules Trust raise thousands of pounds for local charities.

Taking place in the heart of Bath each year, the much-loved and longstanding Bath Boules tournament weekend is all about having fun whilst fundraising, plus a bit of a French twist to really set the scene!

Over the 31 years the event has grown from a one-day, into a two-day, now a three-day tournament with 64 teams competing on each day, a closed-road street food market surrounding the Square and loads to do for friends, families and passers-by.

Radio Bath presenters and supporters enjoyed playing on the Sunday.

The Rotary Club of Bath organised the Bath Festival of Motoring on Sat 17th & 18th June at Lansdown in Bath. Many classic cars and bikes were on display and visitors had the chance to enjoy food from the various outlets and buy from the variety of stands.

Radio Bath were there with presenters comparing the bands over the weekend. And the team were there with a stand and the outside broadcasting unit. Radio Bath hosted a drinks reception for the VIP guests including the Mayor of Bath.

The Radio Bath presenters also interviewed many of the VIP's including our very own Bob Crampton (former ITV weatherman) who interviewed 11 year old Olivia Lynes who was a finalist in this years 'Britain's Got Talent'

10th June 2023 - Loraine and the Team were delighted to organise the VIP sponsors reception in the Radio Bath marquee at Peasedown Party in the Park. Guests enjoyed during the afternoon a delicious buffet with a variety of drinks.

Over 3000 people attended this fabulous day and they were entertained by 7 amazing bands and musicians. Radio Bath were delighted to organise the bands on behalf of the Peasedown Organising Committee.

26th January 2023 - Loraine and the Team organised a reception at the Radio Bath Studios for Bath Business Women's Association. Over 20 guests enjoyed fizz and canapes while having a tour of the studios in Bath.

Co founder and Presenter Steve Fountain talked about how Radio Bath was set up along with the guests being able to watch a show.

Sian Swift was the winner of the business card draw and was presented with a bottle of pink fizz.

Friday 7th July 2023 - Loraine and the Team were thrilled to organise Radio Bath's Gala Dinner at the Double Tree Hilton Bath, raising money for the Radio Bath Charity and 3 other local charities. The Lily Foundation, Peggy Dodd Centre & Southside Family Project.

Guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner, MC was the fantastic Jonny Gould and guests were entertained by Singer and Comedian Neil Cadman.

VIP guests included Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard - Emmerdale) Martin Roberts (TV Presenter from Homes Under the Hammer) & former Bath & England Rugby Players Matt Perry & Simon Halliday.

Dancing was to the fabulous Paul Mallon and his Soul Force Show.

Sunday 2nd April 2023 - what a great day the MBC Team had organising one of the festivals wine stops as part of Bath Comedy Festival's Wine Arts and Comedy Trail.

A fabulous comedian entertained the guests who arrived at the venue on a London Route Master Bus.

Join our friends and organisers Friends of Oleksandriya to show unity and friendship for the people of Ukraine, a year on since the invasion, at a concert featuring Ukrainian singer Nicole Medin joined by the well-known children’s choir, Voices for life Bath Children’s Choir, with two other local choirs, Canzona and the Trowbridge Philharmonic Choir 🎶

All proceeds will go to the Generators for Ukraine appeal, raising funds to send emergency generators to Oleksandriya for their hospitals, schools and homes ❤️

Loraine was delighted to help Southside Development Board, the fabulous Cherie-Anne and Lizzie to organise the 25th Anniversary Reception for Bath's Southside Family Project. This fantastic charity founded by the incredible Penny McKissock in 1997 has helped hundreds of local people through difficult times with their experienced team.

We organised and held a very special reception at the House of St John's based in Queen's Square, Bath. Over 60 guests attended from various businesses across the City and beyond. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapes. Lizzie Heffer was MC and as well as showing a video presentation some of the clients Southside have supported were guest speakers. Guest of Honour film director Ken Loach attended and spoke about this great charity that he supports.

Radio Bath presented their drive time show live from the venue, presenter Robbie Dixon interviewed some of the guests on air during the reception.

The event was sponsored by local business Unividual who are great supporters of Southside, the development board are truly grateful for their support enabling us to organise and hold this very special reception.

Well what an amazing day the Radio Bath Team had at the Peasedown St John Jubilee Party in the Park 2022, this was so well organised by the committee. Radio Bath were delighted to be supporting this fantastic community event. Shaun Smith was amazing organising all the bands, Dave Mason presented his show live from the event and some of the Radio Bath Team helped set up our stands. There were side stalls and food and drink stands and Radio Bath hosted a VIP reception for all the sponsors, everyone had a wonderful time.
