Because better conversations lead to better relationships…

Bex is an illustrator and live graphic recorder who helps people turn complex ideas, conversations and events into engaging visual content that people actually remember. With a background spanning journalism, charity communications, PR, copywriting and strategic communications, Bex brings both creative flair and sharp messaging to every project.

Her work includes live illustration and graphic recording for events, portraits, and drawing workshops designed to support wellbeing, self-expression, communication, teamwork and collaboration. Last week’s education slot flipped the idea of the “Golden Goose.”

Instead of only thinking about who could generate referrals for us, we explored who we could be a Golden Goose for. The room was encouraged to think about the types of visitors they could invite who would genuinely benefit from the relationships and opportunities within our chapter.

The message was simple: when visitors walk into a room and can clearly see how the members could help their business grow, the value of BNI becomes obvious. By inviting people we can truly support, we not only help those visitors succeed but also create a stronger, more attractive chapter that naturally grows through real value and meaningful connections.
