There are some jobs you could outsource but are better kept in house.
My personal favourite, the dog walk before work. Yes I could pay someone, but those 45 minutes at half six before anyone else is up and messaging me is when my best ideas come in, so I protect that one. (Well, at least half the week I do…)
Then there are the ones you never trained for, that bring you no joy, and that can do actual damage if you attempt them yourself.
Accounts, for one. A good accountant pays for themselves and saves you a January with a calculator, a concertina file and a stack of receipts where the numbers have faded.
And your bikini line. You could. The tutorials are free. But you know full well how it ends. Half a strip on, second thoughts, and a decision you have to live with for six weeks.
Marketing is the same.
You can go on YouTube, follow a few people on Instagram and try to work it out. But like waxing your own frou frou, there are things only someone who does it properly will know, and you were never trained for any of it.
So let me ask you. When you’re sat at home after a long day with clients, do you really want to be doing your own marketing any more than you want to be doing your own Brazilian?
Or do you want to be focused on the thing you actually trained for, enjoying the downtime, knowing someone else has got this covered?
That your marketing has an actual strategy behind it. Every platform pulling in the same direction, every piece of content doing a job, and the whole thing working harder than the DIY version ever did.
Without the sting.
