Digital Twenty Four

Digital Twenty Four Creative marketing, driven by data. We're a Belfast digital marketing agency with a difference. What makes us different?

We pride ourselves on being a digital marketing agency with a difference. We’re small but are delivering better results with more agility and efficiency than larger agencies in the UK & Ireland. We exist because we found many agencies function by putting a lot of their efforts into gaining new clients, but not as much into keeping them happy. We’re here to deliver happiness in the form of digital expertise and dedication to your business with no false promises.

Allow us to introduce Maeve, our new Content Creator.

Maeve joins Digital 24 with a First Class BA in English and a Masters in Literary Studies from Queen’s University Belfast.

So yes, words matter to her.

And lucky for us, she is very good with them.

She will be working across content marketing so areas like website content, blogs, social media content to name a few. Reading, refining and perfecting the written side of what we produce for clients.

The difference between good content and great content is often the detail.

Maeve will be helping us get that detail right.

We have a detailed training plan in place. This will focus on marketing strategy, SEO and everything digital marketing.

Because great writers who understand marketing are a powerful combination.

And we are excited to see where that goes.

Welcome to the team, Maeve.

5 outta 9 ain't bad! πŸ’β€β™€οΈ We're still holding out for links on Instagram post captions πŸ’”

In early 2025 we made our digital marketing predictions and quite a few came true! We'll be making our 2026 ones shortly πŸ‘€

- πŸ“΅ On 19th January 2025 a law passed that TikTok's parent company ByteDance would have to sell 80% of it shares to continue operating in the U.S due to a perceived threat to national security. This would ultimately prevent users from gaining access to the app. Whilst TikTok has been under this 'ban' since then, Trump has extended the law's penalities whilst negotiations have been ongoing to find new shareholders. The deal for these new owners is set to wrap up on the 22nd January - meaning whilst TikTok was at threat of being banned - it won't be!

- In April 2025 Meta ad placements for Threads were rolled out worldwide 🧡

- TikTok Shop was available in the EU via Ireland and Spain in December 2024, but was officially rolled out to France, Germany and Italy in March 2025 🌍

- Australia led the way for age verification for under 16s to use social media in November 2024 with Denmark, France, Norway, Spain and Germany looking to implement similar measures 🚫

- In 2025, TikTok nano influencers were pulling in an average engagement rate of 10.3%, compared to just 7.1% for mega-influencers (Influencer Marketing Hub Report 2025) - thought to be due to TikTok's algorithm wanting to push out new creators and their relatability in comparison to larger accounts. If engagement is what you're looking for - prioritise nano's! πŸ“ˆ

As we close out 2025 at Digital 24, I wanted to say thank you.

This year has been full of hard graft, big wins, late nights, proper belly laughs, and those quiet moments where you realise just how lucky you are to do work you genuinely love, with people who care as much as you do.

To every client who trusted us with your brand this year, thank you. Thank you for the briefs, the belief, the feedback, the patience, and the partnership. We never take it for granted. You have helped shape our year, and we are so proud to be in your corner.

And as always, instead of client gifts, we have chosen to do something that feels more meaningful to us. We have donated to charity - it is a small gesture, but it comes with huge gratitude.

Looking ahead, we have some big changes coming for 2026. We have welcomed four new team members in the past 2 months, and when our new boy joins us on 5th January, we will be introducing everyone properly.

We are closing 2025 with a head count of 10, and honestly, I could not be prouder of the team we have built. The talent, the heart, the work ethic, the way they show up for each other and for our clients, it is everything.

2026 is going to be a big year. New energy, new ideas, and plenty more to come.
From all of us at Digital 24, thank you for being part of our journey. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Christmas, and here is to a brilliant 2026.

Too much of a good thing is sometimes... too much! Are you overwhelming your audience by showing them the same ad too often? That's where frequency capping comes in! πŸ™Œ

Frequency capping allows you to limit how often an individual sees your ad within a set timeframe. The result?
βœ… Better user experience
βœ… Reduced ad fatigue
βœ… Smarter use of your ad budget

When done right, frequency capping ensures your message stays fresh and impactful, not repetitive.

Read more about frequency capping and how to implement it on our latest blog!

Since its debut last summer, we've been intrigued by Meta's "Flexi" ad format 🧐 While initial results weren't stellar, we're now seeing better performance compared to traditional formats like video and carousel.

Though CTR hasn't improved much, ROAS has shown a notable increase across various accounts.

Keep in mind, Flexi works best with a solid collection of graphics.

Have you experimented with Flexi ads yet?

Note: For the above data, we only used ads that had at least 10 purchases in the chosen timeframe and chose a timeframe without active discounting.

We recently ran a poll on our socials, asking 'How often do you email your database?'. The results are in and 60% of you said you email your audience once a month. But is once a month enough to make a real impact? πŸ€”

Email marketing works best when it is consistent, valuable, and tailored to your audience’s interests. While monthly emails might keep you on their radar, increasing your frequency with meaningful content will boost engagement, build stronger relationships, and drive better results within your database.

Here are three tips for a stronger email strategy:
πŸ“¬ Provide value in every email (think insights, offers, or tips).
πŸ“… Experiment with frequency! Test sending weekly or bi-weekly emails with variations in content.
πŸ“Š Analyse performance metrics to fine-tune your strategy. Base your frequency of sending emails on your own data.

So, what’s your email frequency strategy? Let us know in the comments or reach out for help in refining your approach.
