I had the pleasure to attend the premiere of Game of Thrones on Friday evening. A few thoughts. It is the biggest TV show in the world. The vision to bring it to Northern Ireland was shared by a few people, but it was supported by the NI Government, as was the bringing of the Open Championship. There is no reason that NI business should not be as ambitious as the team at NI Screen. If they hadn't believed it wouldn't have happened. NI is moving away from being the place where the Troubles happened, towards being a place that delivers success. We should all take this on board.
