Happy Friday indeed, as team MXB celebrate being crowned WINNER of Marketing Campaign of the Year at The National Digital Awards Ireland, for our work on Daybreak Ireland.

Celebrating positively brilliant, unsung heroes, has been a bit of a theme at MXB this year. Having picked up Most impactful campaign of the year for our work with NI Hospice, we spent the latter part of this year working with CCHBC bringing to life Coca-Cola’s Designated Driver campaign which celebrates the heroes who make sure every festive night out ends with a safe journey home.

At a time of year when friends reconnect, families gather, and memories are made, Designated Drivers quietly keep the spirit of the season moving. Our challenge was to shine a light on these unsung heroes in a way that felt contemporary, local, and full of Coca-Cola magic.

We rolled out a festive photoshoot, creating a wholesome video piece bringing a little extra Coca-Cola magic to a campaign that’s been making a difference for over two decades.

Big thanks to the wonderful bars that helped with our filming.

This is what a ‘Most Impactful Campaign’ feels like. Heading into the season where connection means everything, it’s timely to reflect on a campaign that struck an emotional chord that went far beyond social feeds.

We were honoured to see it win the most impactful campaign of the year award at the NI Social Media Awards 2025, and even more honoured to help shine a light on the remarkable support NI Hospice gives families every day.

We are delighted to be crowned once more by Northern Ireland Social Media Awards as 'Best Social Media Team - Agency'. What a win!

An endorsement and recognition from an esteemed panel of global judges that the talent at MXB across creative, strategy and digital are second to none.

Saturday night's awards also saw us pick up the hotly anticipated award for 'Most Impactful Campaign of the Year', an award that looks far beyond metrics, to audience resonance and impact that lasts long after the social campaign is over. This year we took home this accolade for our campaign ‘Be there for Us’, created for Northern Ireland Hospice. It was simply shining amidst all the social media noise that exists out there. We are filled with joy as it holds a very special place in the hearts of our agency family. And our long-standing partnership with Musgrave Group was recognised once more with runner up for 'Best Use of Social Media - Retail', for SuperValu and Centra.
