Last week, we swapped screens for carving tools and got hands-on at our team Lino printing workshop 🎨

Friday was a chance for the Whitenoise team to slow down, learn a new skill, get creative together, and make something with our hands. From first sketches to inky masterpieces, it was the perfect reminder of how important it is to protect creativity for creativity’s sake, and keep learning. Even better - the prints we created are all contributing to a secret project we’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes 👀

How do you get young people to actually pay attention to rail safety messaging? 🚆⚡

That was the thinking behind Rail Cool Rules.

In our latest collaboration with Translink, we focused on tackling dangerous behaviour across buses and trains among 12–20 year olds. This collaboratiuon wasn’t just about delivering information on train safety but about making people stop, listen, and care.

We wanted this to feel different from traditional safety campaigns, so we combined live action, animation and bold creative to build something that felt fast-paced, relatable and impossible to scroll past.

From concept development through to production, this project was all about creating content that connects with younger audiences in a genuine way while still delivering an important message.

This was one of those projects where creativity and purpose came together perfectly 🙌
