The Lost Paintings – A Prelude to Return

“This exhibition gathers 53 artists from Palestine and its diaspora across time and borders to reimagine the missing works of Maroun Tomb, a Palestinian-Lebanese artist, whose 1947 exhibition in Haifa was lost amid the mass displacement and dispossession of the Palestinians during the Nakba. The works resurrect a moment that was nearly erased until it was discovered in archival documents.”

When we saw the beautiful archival documents we knew instinctively that they needed to form a major part of the exhibition too. How better than to fill the gallery walls with the words written in 1948? We’re proud to have produced the graphics for this landmark exhibition which runs at the MAC until 29th March.

The MAC’s annual family Christmas show 2025.
Jack Frost – A snow swirling adventure.

Deep in the northern reaches is a town whispered about in winter tales, where a miracle of love and light unfolds. With echoes of ancient celestial themes and glistening crystalline elements, we flexed our ‘Disneyesque’ muscles to develop the name style and art direction for this year’s show.

This enchanting winter magic was rolled out across multiple platforms including print, on-site, digital, socials and outdoor advertising.

The show is on until 1st of Jan so there’s still time to get your 🎟tickets at themaclive.com

This was a personal project we completed earlier this year. The Ghosts in Our Machines is a short, privately printed book by Doctor Barry Kelly on the history of computing – from its earliest days right up to the arrival of AI – and its philosophical implications. The book boldly incorporates core elements of coding language as typographic devices to highlight chapters and section breaks. Sadly, Doctor Kelly passed away a couple of months ago, but he did get to see this labour of love printed and shared with his many medical colleagues, friends and family. We were pleased to have been able to help make that happen.

The State of Belfast and Hearsay Point Zero are the latest visual arts projects we’ve worked on with .

Curated and commissioned in partnership with Participation and Practice of Rights, StreetSpace at Queen’s University Belfast. The State of Belfast uses Grenfell by Steve McQueen as a stepping off point to address inherent injustices and inequalities in the social housing system and how we might address them.

We worked with the MAC to create a name style, look and feel for the exhibition, promotional material, socials and onsite posters. We also designed an extensive timeline in the Tall Gallery that highlights key dates in housing history. The timeline has become a living wall that has been added to with images and annotations throughout the exhibition.

Exhibition running until this Sunday 21st. Drop by this weekend and check it out along with Steve McQueen’s film Grenfell. It’s powerful viewing.

In November 2024 curated Red Sky at Night festival (as part of ), consisting of six site-specific art installations by local and international artists. ‘Suggestions for Stargazing’ by , was a graphic trail at the Waterworks Park inviting people to look up and connect with the night sky and consider the impact of light pollution on our cities, natural habitats, wildlife and human health.

were approached to assist with the design and installation of the graphic trail. We worked closely with Aisling and Household to convey Aisling’s artworks in the most site-appropriate way. As a nighttime project, we advocated to use neon and photo-luminescent materials to bring the trail to life under the night sky. manufactured and installed the signs, advising on ‘low impact’ installation. The trail was designed to be semi-permanent, with the intention of it only lasting the weekend of the festival, yet it was so successful it ended up staying in-situ for almost six months.

Aisling’s new exhibition ‘We lose sight of the night’ 🌘 opens next Thursday 17th April 7-9pm — the first in a series exploring climate and environmental change. Go check it out!
