Yesterday was Steve’s first day out in his new wagon, after coming to the Bideford yard on Saturday for the handover and to get himself all settled in ahead of starting the week.
This 8-wheeler has been specced up to our tramper level, with multiple nights out a week and plenty of distance work planned. Despite all the kit on board, it weighed in at just under 12,000kg on delivery.
This is the first DAF XFC we’ve had in the fleet, and so far we’ve been pleasantly surprised with the weight for the specification of the truck. Even better, Steve has already been giving some very positive feedback after his first few miles. 👍
We think it’s all come together really well and is certainly looking the part!
