Introducing the Safari Summer Challenge! 🌞

This summer, we’re inviting all our amazing Safari families and social media followers to join in a fun-filled activity challenge designed to bring joy, creativity, and connection throughout the holidays — without breaking the bank!

From nature walks and homemade ice lollies to garden scavenger hunts and story time picnics, we’ve created a list of easy, low-cost (or free!) activities that the whole family can enjoy together.

🎯 The Challenge!

From 9th August 2025, we’ll be sharing daily Safari Summer Challenges.

Complete as many activities as you can over the summer and share your adventures on social media, tagging on Facebook OR on Instagram and using the hashtag . Make sure you share, like and tag friends to also join in.

📣 The Prize!

Families who complete and share pictures or videos of our challenges will be entered into a prize draw to win one prize of up to 3 MONTHS OF FREE CHILDCARE at one of our settings! 🐾✨ (T&Cs apply).

🥔🎨 Got some potatoes hanging around in your pantry?

Use biscuit cutters to transform them into easy-to-use stamps for the little ones. 🌟
While adults will need to handle the knife work, this quick project will keep boredom at bay in no time!

👩‍🍳 How to make potato stamps:

1 | Halve a potato lengthways to make a long stamp, or across the middle for a smaller stamp
2 | Pat the cut ends dry
3 | Press biscuit cutter into the cut end to create an outline
4 | Carefully use a knife to cut around the outline to create a stamp (We’d strongly advise a parent does this step!)
5 | Remove cutter, and voila! Your stamp is ready to use!

Set up a painting station with paints and paper, and let the stamping fun begin! 🎨
Don't forget to cover the table with newspaper for easy cleanup! 🌈
