This evening, the HUGO Bea team has had the pleasure of attending the North East Screen and Big Talk Studio event at The Forum Theatre, where we enjoyed a brilliant and hilarious preview of the new show 'Transaction'!

We were treated to the first two episodes of Transaction, a sharp, nightshift comedy set in a supermarket with a fantastic cast including Jordan Gray, Nick Frost, Doon Mackichan, Thomas Gray, and Francesca Mills. Filmed right here in County Durham and Hartlepool, it’s a true celebration of the North East—and we couldn’t be prouder!

The show had us laughing from start to finish, and we’re genuinely excited to see the full series when it airs on ITV. Trust us—this is one you won’t want to miss!
