Popcorn Productions are hugely excited to present the magic of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, a classic seasonal adventure filled with wonder and thrilling festive hauntings. Follow Scrooge on his unforgettable journey as he meets the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, re-discovering friendship, kindness, and joy along the way.

Packed with colourful characters, atmospheric storytelling, and traditional Christmas charm, this iconic story bursts to life from Westbourne Hall's delightfully bijou stage in a wonderfully uplifting experience for audiences of all ages.

We love pressure, so we're doing two plays almost back to back, we have Alan Bennett's 'Talking Heads' on 27th and 28th November, with a two week break followed by Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol', James Cameron we're channeling your Avatar approach, but with shorter turnaround, less money, staff and notoriety...oh and none of our cast are digital...or are they?

We are currently writing an adaptation, not a progressive version were Tiny Tim is 18ft tall and can walk, but one that will be highly technical and push our cast and crew further than ever before...so line learning will be the least of their concerns 😂😂

Ticket price includes a free mince pie and glass of mulled wine per person!

A Christmas Carol will be held Westbourne Hall on 11th, 12th and 13th December, again due to only 3 performances, we will be experimenting with another matinee on Sunday 13th December at 2.30pm.

We are excited to announce our next production of Alan Bennett's 'Talking Heads' taking place Westbourne Hall.

After the success of our five performances, sadly this time we only have three performances from 27th and 28th November, with a matinee performance taking place on 28th November.

Alan Bennett’s iconic Talking Heads vividly capture the wit, ingenuity, and quiet despair of ordinary people navigating extraordinary moments in their lives. These sharply observed monologues draw you into the private worlds of normal men and women, revealing lives that are funny, fragile, and profoundly human. Intimate and beautifully written, the monologues remain some of Bennett’s most celebrated works, illuminating his gift for storytelling at its most honest.

Join us for an evening of Talking Heads (individual titles to be confirmed), three compelling stories that will stay with you long after you've left the theatre.

We are excited to confirm that American Express Card payments are accepted at all our productions/events.

We know from customer feedback that several of you who have visited us and supported our productions use this type of payment.

We don't want you missing out on all those air miles and benefits, so every time you purchase your ticket at the door or anything at our bar 'The Popcorn Arms' you will be racking up those points, the more you spend, the more you get.

Another performance done, thank you to those who came along to support us, Hunter A Bliss Alison Eyre et al and thank you for our page, we are still working towards gaining 1000k followers and then we will be entering everyone into a prize draw to win a spa day for two at MacDonald's Craxton Wood Hotel...now that has to be better than a £1 box of Heroes... unless you're using them for a chocolate facial...we won't ask!

A big thanks to What's On The Wirral for promoting our productions, we're building our audiences both new faces and regulars, it all helps build our brand.

You might have seen our promotional vehicle out and around Wirral, Chester, and Wales over the last few weeks, this time we popped in Bluebell tea rooms/ Cafe they were very kind to put up a poster and they serve a well priced breakfast along with fine tasting latte's, with reasonable prices....so we didn't need to sell a kidney.

If you find yourself nearby why not pop in and say hello to their pleasant staff, and it is animal friendly too....tell them the guys at Popcorn Productions sent you!

In the meantime if you find yourself looking for something to do on a hot evening why not pop along and enjoy an evening out...we even have ice creams!

The eclipse might have ended, along with our second performance... but fear not we have another three performances of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy 'The Importance of Being Earnest' being held Westbourne Hall.

It was our opening night last night, a big thank you to those who attended and supported the first performance.

A special thank you to Karen Jones for your kind comments, continued support and popping along to opening night.
