Ok so... boosting a post will give you more likes and engagement on your post, but it's more than likely not targeting your perfect target audience ie. people that CONVERT.

However tempting pressing that boost button may be, you will get far more results from putting a paid ads strategy in place via Ads Manager.

πŸ™Œ You can test different audiences, creative copy, hooks, CTA's etc.

πŸ™Œ You can view more insights about your audiences and what resonates best for each audience. One version of copy and creative is more than likely not going to resonate with everyone - some may prefer and engage more with video content instead of static image, longer copy instead of short and snappy, etc. It is important to have a few versions of ads to test.

πŸ™Œ You can track specific actions people are taking within your site and make decisions to optimise and retarget based on the data.

πŸ™Œ You can re-target people who have previously visited your website or engaged with you page, posts or ad.

πŸ™Œ and SO much more!

Understanding a basic Facebook Ads Funnel for creating audiences πŸ€“

➑️ Top of funnel ad sets are going to be targeting COLD audiences. These are people who are not aware of your brand and product; they do not have an understanding of you or your brand. So this is usually interest & demographic based audiences and lookalikes.

➑️ Middle of funnel ad sets are going to be targeting
WARM audiences. These will be built based on people who have an awareness of your brand and products. They will have either interacted or engaged with your Facebook/Instagram or site in some way. This is your chance to nurture these audiences to eventually convert.

➑️ Bottom of funnel ad sets target HOT audiences. Hot because people at this stage are interested in your product or offer, they may have added to cart or even signed up to your newsletter. We are going to be re-targeting these people to give them that final push to convert. Discounts and offers always work really well and I also love using dynamic product ads for BOF!

Never have just one variable when it comes to ads. Whether that's audience, creative, copy, etc. Make sure to have more than one!

This gives more options for Facebook to push out and see what resonates well with different audiences. You'll see what's working better and what is costing more πŸ‘

Especially with warm, smaller audiences you want to make sure to have a few ad variations to avoid ad fatigue and avoid driving up the frequency πŸ₯΄

Here's three pillars that I believe are important from my experience, for ad campaigns to run successfully and achieve higher ROI 🀩

❢ A good sized advertising budget - the more you spend the more you'll get out.

❷ A well-thought-out paid social strategy - this should be experience, knowledge and data driven.

❸ Testing patience - patience is needed to test different audiences, creatives, hooks, etc. until you find the magic mixture. Facebook ads can take a bit of time to find out what works and what resonates best with your audiences. But believe me, the hard work in the beginning pays off in the end! Well, majority of the time πŸ˜…
