There's one important thing to make sure that your info post is better than the competition: Answering the main question in the first part of your post.
Why? Because The first sub-heads of your post get more importance from Google than later sections.
For example, the main KW is: Is Lasagna unhealthy?
If the format is:
• Intro (Not a sub-head)
• What is Lasagna?
• Lasagna From a Nutritional Perspective
• How to Make Healthy Lasagna
• Is Lasagna unhealthy
• Conclusion
The format is neither SEO-Friendly nor ideal for readers. Google wants to give the visitor the answers immediately. But here, the main query is answered in the 4th heading, which makes this passage less important for google search engine rankings. Plus, readers should be able to find their answers right away without having to scroll that far!
The ideal format would be:
• Intro (Not a sub-head)
• What is Lasagna?
• Is Lasagna unhealthy
• Lasagna From a Nutritional Perspective
• How to Make Healthy Lasagna
• Conclusion
So if you answer the main question in the first part of your post, not only will more people read it, but Google will also give it a higher ranking. So next time you're writing a blog post, make sure you answer the main question early on.
