Proudly creating strategic and compelling marketing campaigns that are supported by data and research.

May was a busy month across the agency.

We picked up two Web Excellence Awards, one for the Perudo website and one for our own Catalyst brand website, taking us to 10 industry awards overall.

We also welcomed Holme Tree to Catalyst, with work kicking off next week. Looking forward to getting started and helping support their next stage of growth.

One of the biggest highlights this month has been Cynosure. What started in 2024 as ad hoc content support has continued to grow, and we’re now supporting the team with ongoing content, search, creative and lead generation campaigns across multiple areas of the business.

Internally, May also marked a big step for the agency as we officially moved offices. It's shaping up to be a bright, welcoming place to work and a space that feels right for the next few years of growth! Thanks to Catherine for all her help!

Following the PrimeTel website going live, the team are already seeing an uplift in leads early on, which is encouraging to see so soon after launch.

Alongside client work, we wrapped up the end of FY25/26 with our annual business presentation, sharing performance from the last financial year and plans for the year ahead before heading into our internal awards night and celebrations in Birmingham.

We even managed to get a bank holiday weekend with genuinely good weather, which feels rare enough to deserve a mention on its own.

And finally....Istanbul was painted Claret & Blue (but Paul, a Liverpool fan, says we're not allowed to talk about it!) Now to Austria for the Super Cup final.

A good month all round.

When a business is redefining what integrated fire safety looks like, the website needs to keep up.

That’s exactly what we’ve delivered for Inim Electronics.

The new site has been designed to better reflect the scale, technical capability and innovation behind the Inim brand, while making it easier for key audiences including architects, specifiers, M&E consultants and installers to access the information they need.

From fully integrated fire detection and suppression systems, to CloudFire and FireDesigner, the new platform gives Inim the foundations to support future growth, technical engagement and lead generation.

There’s also much more to come, including downloadable specification resources, compliance support materials and technical documentation designed specifically for consultants and specifiers.

A great project to be part of with a genuinely innovative business in the fire safety sector.

PrimeTel has evolved massively over the last few years.

The problem was, their website hadn’t.

It no longer reflected the business they are today, the scale of projects they deliver, or the value they bring to clients navigating complex technology decisions.

So together, we rebuilt it.

The new site is clearer, sharper and built around what PrimeTel actually do best:
Helping businesses buy business-critical technology better.

More importantly, it’s already doing what the old site struggled to do:
Generating leads.

Within days of launch, enquiries were already coming through.

A great example of what happens when messaging, positioning and user experience finally align with the reality of the business behind it.

Take a look at the new site here:

Entering year two with two start-ups is where things start to get interesting.

Twelve months ago, Eden Energy Partners and Procure Group were at the stage where ambition was clear, but everything needed building.

Over the past year, that foundation has been put in place:
- Clear positioning and messaging
- A digital presence built to support growth
- Campaigns designed to generate pipeline
- Ongoing testing and refinement based on real data

Now, as we move into the second year, the focus is on building momentum:
- Scaling the channels that are delivering results
- Strengthening brand presence and authority
- Improving conversion across the journey
- Driving consistent, predictable pipeline

Working with start-ups at this stage brings a different energy. There is pace, there is clarity and every decision has a direct impact on growth.

Looking forward to what the next 12 months deliver.

Most websites look the part.

They’re well designed, say the right things, and tick all the boxes.

But when you look a bit closer, they’re not really achieving much commercially. Traffic comes in, but it doesn’t turn into anything meaningful.

What's the point of a website that's not delivering ROI for your business?

We’ve pulled together a short guide on what really makes a difference, based on the patterns we see across SME sites that perform, and the ones that don’t.

It covers things like:
What a website needs to do beyond just “being live”
Why traffic on its own doesn’t tell you much
What tends to influence conversion and lead quality
Where most sites fall short without realising
If your website isn’t contributing in the way you expected, this should help you pinpoint why, and what to focus on next.

12 months ago, Lee joined Catalyst with a clear objective: to build a dedicated brand specialism.

Since then, it’s been taking shape in the background.

Catalyst Brand now has its own website, its own presence, and a growing number of projects behind it.

A lot of this success comes down to how Lee works. He's built a specialism focused on helping ambitious organisations define who they are, what they stand for and why people should care. The kind of clarity that drives stronger positioning, better marketing and more confident growth.

He’s thoughtful, measured, and not in a rush to jump to the obvious answer. But there’s a clear sense of direction behind everything he does, and he's got a real focus on building brands that genuinely fit the businesses we're working with.

It’s been great to see it develop over the past 12 months, and even more interesting to see where it goes from here.

Thank you, Lee!

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week.

One of those moments in the year that prompts a bit more reflection than usual.

For most people, work doesn’t suddenly change this week. There are still deadlines, busy days, and the usual pressures that come with it.

The theme for 2026 focuses on turning awareness into action. Creating environments where support is visible, conversations are normal and people feel able to be honest about how they are really doing.

At Catalyst, Paul and Sarah try to keep things simple.

Make it easy for people to speak up if something’s not quite right. Look out for each other. Give people space when they need it, and support when they ask for it.

It's not something we ever expect to get perfect, but it is something we try to get better at every day.

If nothing else, this week’s a good nudge to be a bit more aware of the people around you.

4 years ago, Rhino Interiors partnered with Catalyst to shift perception, they wanted to attract bigger businesses and bigger projects, having already proven they were more than capable.

Over the years we have supported across their website, search, email, content and social, helping to reposition the brand and build a stronger presence in the market.

Today, our focus is on driving qualified, high-intent leads to the website and supporting continued growth.

It is a great example of what can be achieved with a long-term approach, clear direction and consistent ex*****on.

Thank you to Rhino Interiors for trusting us over the last 4 years.

Traffic is coming in, but sales are not?

Most eCommerce websites do not have a traffic problem, they have a conversion problem.

Small points of friction, poor user journeys, product pages that do not help people decide.

We have broken down 7 common reasons why eCommerce websites fail to convert and, more importantly, what to do about it.

If you are spending on ads, SEO or social, but not seeing the return, start here.
