March was a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but here are my three highlights 👇

1. Trialled working from The Residence Coworking Space with .brand . I loved it, and I’ll be based there regularly from April

2. Spoke at Celebration & Party Expo , delivering my “Marketing that Converts” session, a great opportunity to share a more practical way of thinking about marketing

3. Launched my new Digital Marketing Workshop. It’s the result of 9 months working closely with SMEs.

This workshop is designed for founders doing their own marketing — practical, hands-on, and focused on building a simple system that works for your business.

Sometimes, one simple line is all it takes to stop you in your tracks.

Late last year, I walked past a storefront in Shoreditch with a sign that read: “Master the art of fun.” I didn’t know the brand at the time, but the message was strong enough to make me pause, take a photo, and later book the experience.

This is a good reminder of how powerful the right words can be. A clear, memorable line doesn’t just describe what a business does, it creates a feeling, sparks curiosity and invites people in.

I’ve shared a short article reflecting on that experience at Pinot & Picasso UK , the confidence it gave me to try something new, and the marketing lesson behind it: the real power of a strong tagline.

Because sometimes, turning a passer-by into a customer starts with just one sentence.

Last week during our The Women In Business Network (WIBN) meeting, I asked a question:

“What does marketing mean to you?”

In a room full of business women from legal, accounting, finance, estate agency, therapy, coaching and reflexology, the answers included: promoting products, communicating with customers, networking, making connections… and stress…

That last one sparked a great reaction.
Because when marketing feels stressful, it’s often a sign we’re trying to do too much rather than focusing on what truly matters and what will bring the best results.

For me, marketing is about creating value both for your business and for the clients you serve.

When we focus on value and who exactly we are creating that value for, marketing becomes clearer, more intentional and far less overwhelming.

On the last morning of 2025 it felt like the right moment to pause (and admire the birds singing as they celebrate a new day and a new beginning!)

This year instead of focusing on New Year resolutions, I’ve been revisiting my personal mission statement, the why of every decision making.

A mission statement has a way of cutting through the noise. It doesn’t map every step, but it keeps you oriented when decisions get uncertain.

I’ve noticed this personally and professionally: when the mission is clear, priorities are easier to define and work starts to feel more purposeful…
