If anyone knows of any food van that can serve coffee’s & breakfast that would like to attend our car bootsale this Sunday please ask them to drop me a message . We do not charge an attendance fee for our catering vans.

Unfortunately our regular trader is unable to attend this weekend.

On Bootsale Days , please do not turn down this lane. This is access to Stansted Raceway only you may struggle to get back up the lane due to incoming traffic.

That will bring you Straight to the gate for entrance to the car Bootsale .

Also we would like to remind all visitors to be respectful of our neighbours and neighbouring villages. Please respect speed limits and remember we are located on a
Country Road where many cyclists, horse riders and walkers often frequent .

We also provide plenty of Free parking so please do not park on any verges.

A Huge Thank you to everyone that came along today, our sellers had some wonderful items and we saw many buyers taking hauls back to their vehicles.

We are very lucky that we have had a lovely bunch of sellers through our gates so far this year , and met many wonderful buyers.

Our aim is to be your friendly , local car Bootsale.

This is our first year of operating and we have just completed Car Boot no 5 !

We would like to continue to grow , now you may have noticed a slight name change. This is because we have listened to feedback and it is becoming apparent that not many people know where Chickney is . We also welcome any feedback from any previous sellers or buyers .

So for clarity we are now called Herts & Essex Bootsales . We are located right on the Herts & Essex border , in Henham. CM22 6BH.
