It's been 6 years since we birthed Optic Jam!

Our first official client on the books was Beacon Case Management, who was also a brand new business, and they are still with us today!

We've been through a lot together 🥹 and our bond is strong 💪

We just work. Like ice-cream and jelly. Like puddles and wellies.

Long-lasting, great working-relationships are what we are all about at Optic Jam and having clients that stick with us for years is the icing on the cake.

We're currently working with a chocolatier which is an absolute dream! We've got the logo nailed, but now we are working on the branding. She's given us free rein to experiment with different colour combinations and patterns.

Artisan of Ludlow offers small batch, luxury hand-made chocolates, truffles and indulgent sweet treats.

Which one do you think works the best? 1, 2 or 3?

We are proud at Optic Jam to support those living with acquired brain injuries. Although we are a creative company, we work with many clinicians and therapists across the north west and we have nothing but admiration for the people who dedicate their careers and lives to helping others.

Please donate if you are able, or even come along on the sponsored walk! Terry McDonough and I will be there (no doubt red-faced and out of breath) to show our support 😁

On Friday 11th September at 11:30am, we’ll be meeting at Tarn Hows in the Lake District and walking a fully accessible 2 mile route in order to raise money for Headway Salford Trafford & North Manchester.

Every pound raised will go to help people living with brain injuries, and their families, right here in our community. Life can be especially tough when you have an acquired brain injury, and we want those affected to know that they don't have to face it alone. There are people out there who care. There is support.

One of the perks of working with a variety of clients at Optic Jam is getting invited to their events!!

The Sanctuary of Healing is a hidden gem tucked away in the Lancashire countryside and we've supported them with all their marketing, website and design needs for over 5 years now.

Not only do they offer amazing holistic treatments, massage and meditations, but they have the best vegetarian organic cafe in the North 😋

Heads Up Therapies FC are a wonderful team of players who all have acquired brain injuries. On May 13th they'll be playing an 11-a-side match at Broadhurst Park. There are lots of ways to show your support. You can sponsor a player, volunteer on the day or even just buy tickets for the event which promises to be a really exciting day!

The Wife of Adobe’s Co-Founder Created Their Iconic Logo for Free From Her Kitchen.

Marva Warnock, a talented graphic artist and the wife of Adobe co-founder John Warnock, designed the company’s original logo in 1982. At the time, the startup lacked the funds to hire an external agency, so Marva stepped in to create a professional identity from their kitchen table. Her design featured a bold, stylized "A" with a distinct open triangular crossbar, paired with a futuristic wordmark where the "E" consisted of three simple horizontal stripes. Set against a dark grey background, this geometric emblem became an instant classic. Her clean, modern aesthetic proved so enduring that the iconic "A" remains the core of Adobe’s global brand identity more than forty years later.
