This year, the Red Rose Awards charity partner is Lancashire and South Cumbria Hospices Together.

Hospices Together is a partnership of local hospices working side by side to strengthen hospice and end-of-life care across the region.

By sharing knowledge, resources and a collective voice, the group aims to make sure more people can access compassionate, high-quality support when they need it most.

At its heart, the partnership is about collaboration, bringing hospices together to better support patients, families and communities through some of life’s most difficult moments 🫶

We are looking for a full-time journalist to join our team, working across the magazine, our online platforms and events.

Core responsibilities include:

👉 Generating and delivering quality stories and features

👉 Standing in for the editor when necessary

👉 Attending and reporting Lancashire Business View’s events

👉 Pitching off-diary reads and interviews for Lancashire Business View

This position offers hybrid working opportunities, with a minimum of three days per week based in our Blackburn office.
