🐶 A Day at the Competition with Ella 🐾

Had a really good day at the dog competition with Ella recently.

She had a go at the obstacle course and entered a few different things, including Waggiest Tail and Loveliest Lady 😂🐶

She didn’t win anything this time, but she came really close to 3rd place. One of the judges said it was between Ella and another dog for 3rd, but the other dog just got it.

To be honest, I think Ella was more bothered about getting all the love and attention than winning anything 😂❤️

There were loads of lovely dogs there, some great views and it was just a really nice day out.

After a busy day, Ella went home for a well-earned cuddle 🥰🐶

Sniffing is much more than just stopping to smell things. It’s how dogs explore the world around them, gather information and keep their minds active. In fact, giving them time to sniff can be just as important as the walk itself.

Every dog deserves the chance to enjoy their walk at their own pace. ❤️🐾

Holts & Hounds merch is landing soon! 🎉

I’ll be giving some away to my amazing clients as a thank you for supporting my business, and there’ll also be merchandise available for local pubs and businesses that want to help support and promote Holts & Hounds. 🍻🐶

I’m also excited to be collaborating with my close mate at The Waggy Meal, who bakes fantastic homemade dog treats. There’ll be plenty of tasty goodies coming your pups’ way! 🦴

Every dog has their own personality.

Some want to run around non-stop, some just want a fuss, and others are happiest simply sitting next to you enjoying the fresh air.

Getting to know each dog’s personality is one of my favourite parts of pet care.

Building trust takes time, but seeing a dog become excited when you arrive for a walk makes it all worthwhile.
