This little girl will always hold such a special place in my heart. 🤍

She was one of my very first clients after I reopened my nannying business, and watching her grow over the time I’ve cared for her has been so lovely.

When I first started nannying for her, she wasn’t yet sitting up independently. Now she’s sitting beautifully all on her own and even starting to crawl and making her little baby babbles into real words! 🥹 I’m so proud of how far she’s come, and it’s been such a privilege getting to watch those little milestones happen.

Mum first reached out not long after Little Arks reopened and knew from the beginning that my daytime availability would only last until September. But I’ve worked my magic, and I’m so happy that her care has now been taken over by one of our lovely nannies here at Little Arks.

I’ve provided a full handover and personally introduced her new nanny to the family, so the transition has been as smooth and reassuring as possible. It means she can continue receiving the same high-quality care, remain part of the Little Arks family, and still have that consistency and familiarity around her. 🥰

It has been an absolute pleasure caring for this gorgeous little girl. Her personality has really started to shine through, and I know she’s going to continue coming on in leaps and bounds. 🤍

💙 Universal Credit childcare costs
As an approved childcare provider, eligible parents may also be able to claim back some of their childcare costs through Universal Credit, subject to their individual entitlement.

This can make private nannying, school holiday care, wraparound care and other eligible childcare much more affordable for families. 🧸✨

And that’s a wrap on Summer Weddings!! 💍🤍

My very first Summer trading as Little Arks, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of attending 12 weddings this season! 🥹

Next summer is already looking even busier, with 19 weddings booked AND secured with deposits for next year already!! 🤯✨

I’m now enjoying my last week of Summer private nannying, spending some much-needed time with my own little boys before September begins. 🤍

And then… we move onto Autumn and Winter weddings 🍂❄️💍

I’m so excited for cosy venues, Autumn colours, Christmas weddings and another busy season of looking after your littlest guests. What an incredible first year Little Arks is having. 🥹🤍

✨ WEDDING BOOKING REMINDER ✨

All messages will be answered this afternoon - if you have paid your deposit, your date is already in my diary and is secured. 🤍

I’ve had such a busy few weeks with it being peak wedding season, so thank you for your patience while I work through everything! 🥰

A little reminder as I make my way through messages…

💍 We receive multiple wedding enquiries every day, and availability is extremely limited for myself and our nanny team.

We can only accommodate one wedding per day, so between our 4 social media platforms, our website and Hitched, you can imagine we are having to turn people away if their date is already taken!

✨ Your date is only secured once your deposit has been paid. An enquiry or quote does not hold the date.

We allow 48 hours after sending a quote/follow-up for a response. If we don’t hear back, we may need to offer the date to another couple.

We completely understand wedding planning is busy, but with limited availability, we simply can’t hold dates without a deposit. 🤍

I’ve had lots of lovely new followers recently, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself! 👋🏼✨

I’m Lois, the face behind Little Arks, and a proud mum to my two beautiful boys, Noah & Reuben. 👦🏼👶🏼🤍

In fact, the name Little Arks was inspired by my two boys. They’re the heart behind my business and a huge part of the reason I decided to follow my own path. 🤍

I’ve spent the past 8 years working in childcare, including within private day nurseries and progressing into senior and leadership roles. After gaining so much experience within the industry, I decided it was time to create something of my own - something built around the values I believe in.

I’m always attending training and continuing my professional development, because I believe there is always more to learn when working with children. ✨

My mission is simple: to provide safe, nurturing and reliable childcare, whilst giving parents the peace of mind to enjoy the moments that matter.
