🎉 2 Years of Everything Social! 🎉

Tomorrow marks 2 whole years since I launched Everything Social.

What started as a side hustle during my maternity leave has turned into something so much bigger, and watching this business grow has been such an emotional and rewarding journey.

My dad would have been so proud. I remember sitting with him when I first set up my business, he was worried about me not going back to my full-time job. Seeing how far I’ve come now… I just know he’d be so proud.

I’m so grateful to work with so many amazing businesses and clients - your support honestly means the world!!

Here are just a few highlights from this past year:

✨ Winning ‘New Business Woman of the Year’ Award (still feels surreal!)
✨ Being asked to manage social media channels for 100+ retail stores
✨ Creating fun, impactful marketing campaigns with so many incredible businesses
✨ Expanding the team - Everything Social is no longer a one-woman show!😄

Of course, there have been challenges too. There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes, and building a business hasn’t always been easy. But I’ve learned to keep pushing, keep evolving, and trust the process - because it’s all so worth it.

Hi, I’m Katie ☺️👋
Owner of Everything Social — a business I started in 2021 while working full-time and completing a digital marketing course.

What began as a way to get hands-on experience quickly became something I was truly passionate about. I pitched, learned, adapted, and landed my first client - who I still work with today!🥹

Since then, I’ve grown Everything Social into a business that supports B2B and B2C clients across multiple industries, acting as an extension of their teams to manage their social media, boost engagement, and share their story.

From growing my business during newborn naps and night feeds, to supporting my family through my dad’s cancer journey - there has been some incredibly tough moments alongside the wins. But taking the leap to go full-time with Everything Social in 2023 was a turning point, and truly one of the best choices I’ve made.

This time last week was the Bolton Women in Business Awards, and wow, what a night it was!

I was surrounded by so many amazing, talented women, and honestly, I felt so grateful to be part of such an inspiring event.

I still can’t believe I won the ‘New Business Woman of the Year’ award. My dad would’ve been so proud! 🥹

When I got home, his photo frame had fallen over, and then I saw a white feather on my doorstep. I think I needed that - just a little sign to remind me he was with me.

A huge thank you to my family, friends, and clients - your support means everything, and I truly couldn’t do this without you!

And a massive thank you to Mckay for putting together such an amazing event.

1 year ago today I left my job to start my own social media marketing business. I cannot believe it!😮

It has been one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, especially with a little one to take care of.

Before taking the leap, I spent many evenings and weekends building my business from what was just a 'side hustle'. I poured my heart and soul into it because I found an area in marketing that I truly loved and was passionate about.

I quickly realised I could assist businesses in managing their marketing more efficiently, saving them time and money without hiring full-time staff.

So, thank you to everyone who has believed in me, supported my business and let me help their business succeed online. 🥰
