Somewhere along the way, we started to miss the point of Social Media Marketing.

It became a chore that needed to be done as quickly as possible “Let’s just throw something up”… the problem? Sometimes this approach does more harm than good 😩

The most expensive words in business? 💸

“We’ll sort it later.”

Later is great in theory, but ‘later’ has a habit of turning into next week… ⏩

Then next month… 📆

Then suddenly it’s been a year😅

We’ve seen it with ⤵️

It’s a phrase that’s used a lot in Digital marketing, but what does it actually mean? 👀

For us, it doesn’t mean chasing likes or posting just to keep a page active; it means creating content with a purpose 🤌

Yesterday, I was officially diagnosed with combined ADHD.

Whilst it wasn’t a huge surprise, it has answered a lot of questions I’ve had about myself for years.

For a long time, I genuinely believed I was just too much.

I spent years trying to be calmer, quieter and more organised, wondering why things that seemed easy for other people felt so difficult for me 😮‍💨

The diagnosis doesn’t change who I am. I’m still the same person I was last week; but it does give me a better understanding of why my brain works the way it does, and there’s something quite comforting about that 🥰

When I reflect, it also explains some of my strengths that have helped me survive being a business owner for the last 8 or so years 🤣🙌

The creativity, the constant ideas, the ability to hyper-focus to the point I know your business almost as well as my own, the constant need to up-skill to ensure I’m always bettering myself, as well as the energy and passion that I bring to my business (and yours) everyday 🤩

(A certain amount of credit also has to be attributed to copious amounts of caffeine ☕️)

I know there are lots of adults, especially women, who have spent years feeling like they’re somehow getting life wrong and I want you to know this; Sometimes it’s not about trying harder.

Sometimes it’s about understanding yourself a little better 💖

It’s not something most business owners spend much time thinking about.

It’s a question worth asking yourself…

If all your files, emails, customer information and documents disappeared overnight, what would happen? 😩📧

A client recently got in touch because their PC had become painfully slow 🐌

Opening emails took ages 📧
Files were slow to load 🗂️
Even switching the computer on felt like hard work 😮‍💨

They were convinced they needed a new PC 🖥️

They came to us for advice and we suggested that before investing in a complete replacement, we take a quick look 👀

It turned out there was lots running in the background that simply didn’t need to be there…

There was old software, unnecessary startup programs and a few settings that weren’t helping matters.

After a bit of housekeeping and optimisation, the PC was running like a completely different machine 🙌

The best part?

They didn’t need a new computer after all.

Sometimes a slow PC isn’t a sign that it’s time to replace it. It just needs the right person to figure out what’s causing the problem 🔍
