I’ve realised the key to success on your social media, is not what you post- BUT WHY.
I’ve realised is how many businesses don’t ACTUALLY know some of the deeper ins and outs they should be posting about.
When I onboard new clients, I ask a series of questions designed to truly understand their business before we even start talking about posts or reels.
Here are three that always tell me everything I need to know about a brand:
🥂 If someone recommended your business to a friend, what would you hope they say about it?
{This helps uncover the real reputation of the brand. The language people naturally use often becomes the strongest angle for content.}
🥂 What part of your business do you wish more people understood?
{This reveals the depth behind the service - the expertise, effort or story that often gets overlooked but deserves to be shared online.}
🥂 Why do your customers come back to you instead of trying somewhere else?
{Retention says a lot more than attraction. Understanding why people return highlights the true value of the business.}
These three questions help me navigate a new brand quickly, especially when it’s an industry I’m less familiar with. They shape the strategy, guide the storytelling and make the content feel aligned from day one.
If you’re a business owner reading this… how would you answer them? ✨
I ask LOTS more questions during onboarding, so comment if you’d like to hear some more of my favourites 🫶🏽
