Most people think crisis communication starts when something goes wrong, usually, the important part happens before that.

Who responds, what gets said, how information is shared internally, and how quickly decisions can be made all matter when the pressure is on.

The organisations that handle difficult situations well are normally the ones that prepared for them early.

That’s why crisis comms is less about reacting and more about having a clear framework already in place.

Pride Month is a moment to recognise, support, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

For us, it’s also a reminder of the kind of environment we want to build every day. One where people feel comfortable being themselves, respected for who they are, and valued for what they bring.

That applies to our team, our clients, and the wider community we’re part of.

It’s not about saying the right thing once a year. It’s about how you show up consistently, in the way you work and the way you treat people.

A consistent 3-4 enquiries a week from social media.

That’s the kind of result we’re aiming for.

For a lot of businesses, social media feels like something that should be working, but isn’t quite delivering.

In this case, it came down to getting the foundations right. Clear messaging, consistent content, and making sure everything reflected the level the business is operating at.

Once that’s in place, the difference tends to show fairly quickly.

Good to see it translating into real enquiries.

AI is being used a lot more in social media now, and you can usually tell quite quickly when it has been relied on too heavily.

It tends to sound right on the surface, but when you actually read it, it doesn’t say much. The tone feels generic, the message drifts, and there’s nothing in it that reflects the business behind it.

The issue isn’t AI itself. It’s a useful tool when it’s used to support ideas, not replace them. What we’re seeing more of in 2026 is businesses using it as a quick fix, filling their platforms with content that looks consistent but doesn’t connect.

Over time, that has an impact. Engagement drops, content gets ignored, and it stops supporting the wider work being done across SEO, PR and marketing.

Social media is one of the first places people go to understand a business. If it doesn’t feel real, it becomes much harder to build trust.

If you don’t have the time to shape it properly, it’s worth getting support to make sure what you’re putting out actually represents you and does the job it’s meant to do.

Each platform works differently. What lands on TikTok won’t necessarily land on LinkedIn. What works on Instagram might get ignored on Facebook.

👉🏼 TikTok leans towards fast, unpolished content that feels natural.
👉🏼 Instagram rewards strong visuals and content people want to come back to.
👉🏼 LinkedIn is driven by clear thinking and real perspective.
👉🏼 Facebook still works best when it builds connection and conversation.

The mistake we see is organisations treating every platform the same way. Same post, same format, same tone.

The brands that get results adjust how they show up. Same message, but delivered in a way that fits the platform and the audience using it.

That’s usually where things start to click.

Happy birthday to Luce 🎉

Our Account Manager and someone who’s made a real impact since joining the team.

She’s brought a strong sense of organisation, clear thinking, and a way of working that keeps everything moving as it should. Clients feel it, and so does the team.

She’s really grown into the role and continues to raise the standard of what we deliver day to day.

A great person to have on board, and a big part of what makes things work here.

Hope you’ve had a good one, Luce

We’ve had Chantelle with us this week for work experience, and she’s been a great addition to the team.

Currently in Year 10 and choosing Media Studies for her GCSEs, she came in keen to learn about graphic design, marketing, and content creation.

She’s spent time across the team, getting involved in social media, branding, PR and communications, and has got stuck into everything we’ve given her.

It’s always good to see such interest early on, especially when someone is willing to try different areas and see what they enjoy most.

We’re looking forward to seeing where she takes it next.

A pleasure to have you with us, Chantelle.

Not every platform works for every business.

It sounds obvious, but it’s one of the most common things we see done wrong, where you show up should reflect how your audience actually makes decisions.

Care services tend to benefit from Facebook and LinkedIn. One builds community and trust locally, the other supports credibility and partnerships.

Trades often see stronger results on Facebook and Instagram. Visual proof of work, before and afters, and regular updates build confidence quickly.

Health and beauty sits naturally on Instagram. It’s visual, it’s personal, and people want to see real results and real experiences.

Financial services leans more towards LinkedIn. Clear, informative content that builds trust over time tends to work best.

There’s no single “right” platform.

The key is choosing where your audience is, and then showing up in a way that makes sense for them.

That’s usually where things start to land properly.

A big happy birthday to Jordan 🎉

Our Operations Manager and the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes.

With a background in Marketing Communications and PR, Jordan brings a strong understanding of both the detail and the bigger picture. From her early days in agency life through to now, she’s built a reputation for getting things done properly.

She was recognised early on in her career with the Pride Award for Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year, which says a lot about the standard she sets.

Day to day, she’s the one making sure everything at the Inspiration Agency runs as it should. Keeping projects on track, supporting the team, and making sure clients get what they need, when they need it.

Hope you’ve had a good one, Jordan 🎂
