My daughter and I went on a mini adventure around our garden today to see which edible flowers we could find...
After gently washing them, we used them to make some pretty ice cubes.
The flowers we gathered were viola, lilac, and borage.
Our lilac tree had taken a hit from the recent windy weather, so we had to take care to avoid any damaged flowers that were turning brown. We only had a very small number of viola and borage flowers on our plants, so didn't pick many to make sure some remained for the bees and other pollinators! We 💜 nature
