The new HIVE Hub for the Children's Hyperinsulinism Charity

Not a website as such, but this last couple of weeks, I have been helping put together a new collaborative hub for the Children's Hyperinsulinism Charity's website.

This was built in time for last Sunday, 7th June which was Hyperinsulinism Awareness Day.

Who is your web content written for?

Seriously if you read through your web pages today, who would you say they are aimed at?

❓Your customers?
❓You
❓Your company?
❓Everyone? (bad answer by the way)

I saw a web page recently form a trade that offered their services in Surrey, South London and Kent. The main strapline changed to read all 3 counties. That wasn't written for the customer, that was the company trying to kill 3 birds with one stone.

The customer doesn't care is a company caters for 3 counties. They just want to know if they are in the right place and can this particular website can resolve their issues.

Potential customers can visit a website at any stage of their buying process. They might be researching the products/services out there. they might be getting reviews, making comparisons, researching pros & cons.

Yes they want to know if you are a trusted reliable company, but do they really need to read the same faceless spiel that you wrote for your printed brochures? Or even worse, generalised AI blurb that appeals to no one?

If your website is not converting as well as you thought it would then let's have a talk.

Recent showcase: Feline Matchmakers

We have recently worked with US based not for profit organisation Feline Matchmakers. This website was originally put together by the founder using a pre-made template back in 2020. However there were a few minor flaws including integration with an outdated API which was chuckin errors throughout the website

The work included a smarten up of the header and top menu, integration of 3 Pet Search functions, update of current gallery (and removal of adopters in face masks!), new sponsors page, intgration of back to top feature throughout the site, basic content updates and introduction of the 3 members of the team.

Recent Showcase - Attachment Solutions Shop

We have recently worked with Nayland based Plant machinery Hire Company, Attachment Solutions. We originally created their website back in 2023. We have spent the last couple of months adding a shop enabling their clients to buy attachment goods such as crusher buckets, flail mulchers and tree shears.

The changes include a light shop toolbar throughout their website, shipping and payment configuration, 4 legal pages and addition of 150 products.

This was built on WooCommerce and tested on browsers and various mobile devices.

DVH Design - Award Winning and featured in Women Story

A few weeks ago, I proudly announced that I had received 2 awards for DVH Design: One was best Web Agency of the year and the other was the International Women Entrepreneur Awards 2026

I am pleased to say that they have written and included my story on their website. I am a little reluctant to share it as it does go into quite intricate details, but I'm being brave and posting it here.

I do think AI was used a bit, but some of it might be Americanised because it's an Indian website. Hopefully by the time you read this, the formatting should have been worked on. 🤞
