💙 Standing with Mentell 💙

Christmas is a time for giving and at BEAM, supporting people doesn’t stop at research, it’s something we really care about day to day.

We’re proud to continue supporting Mentell, an amazing charity that provides safe, confidential spaces for men to talk openly about their mental health, without judgement or pressure.

This cause is one that’s genuinely close to the BEAM team. Through our community feedback, we make regular donations to Mentell, and we also help support their annual fundraising ball, all to help them keep doing the vital work they do.

Sometimes just having a space to talk, listen, and breathe can make a huge difference, and that’s exactly what Mentell provides.

We’ve done it! 💪💛

We had such a brilliant time taking part in today’s Reformerthon for BBC Children in Need with Kay Crewdson, we’re definitely feeling it already 😅

Kay is still going (yes, still!) and will be powering through until 11am tomorrow morning. Absolute machine! 🙌

It’s been amazing to see so many local people come together for such a great cause.

Thanks to the team that came down to take part: Amy Middleton, Amy Cartwright, Alec Middleton, Caitlin Patterson, Kirsty Antrobus, Pat Connolly, & Emily Baker.

And Alicia Whyatt for being on photo duty and capturing us in action.

Most of the time, MEN TELL you absolutely nothing. They casually chat, they might discuss, they often make you laugh your socks off… but 9/10 the subject is likely something entirely irreverent.

On Saturday evening BEAM and Give Opinions stood alongside William Edge & Peter Longbottom for the second time, to raise much-needed funds, and ‘money-can’t-buy’ awareness for Mentell

Mentell can help men take a huge deep breath, provide that weight-lifting exhale, it might be the scariest thing a brave guy can face, it might be an actual lifeline.

A lifeline not just for those men experiencing personal trauma. For the countless children, wives, partners, parents, friends, and family who unconditionally love a man who is living in constant struggle.

If you’re struggling with your mental health and are unsure about where to turn, Mentell can provide a place of safety to listen and share with fellas just like you, all in confidence and with unwavering respect. It’s always free from advice, from judgement, and commitment meaning you can travel at a pace you choose.

A big hello to Elyse Kilmore who is joining us as Senior Project Manager for BEAM International. In her short time here, Elyse has had a big impact on both projects and in the office bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role.

Our newest BEAMIE Ross Thompson is flying in his role...actually flying down to Heathrow to pick-up interviewing shifts at the drop of a hat, and achieving some great results!

The whole team deserves a HUGE thank you for a great set of results in November - it REALLY was was a month of digging deep to deliver results for our clients 👊🏽
