We caught up with Matt at Brancaster and he told us the great story of how he joined Time Team back in 2003. The answer surprised us! Thanks Matt for sharing and giving us a few minutes out of the trench.🙏❤️

This has to be worth a listen!

We caught up with Karen Kirk, Time Team producer and director, in a rather noisy pub and asked her about her love of archaeology which led to her joining the original Time Team and then the new Time Team. We have more from Karen about her role coming in later reels.

It was lovely to meet Derek Pitman at Brancaster with Time Team. We had the chance to interview him alongside his best mate Laurence Shaw but for now here is a little intro to whet your appetites ❤️🥳. Thank you Derek 🙌🏼🙂.

At the Time Team Brancaster dig we caught up with Dickie who performs two key behind-the-scenes roles on a Time Team dig. Firstly, he is responsible for logistics and safety on site, a role he took over from the late and much missed Kerry Ely ❤️. Secondly, he is responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of the Operation Nightingale Veterans, ensuring that they have the support they need whilst out in the field with Time Team. Really lovely to meet you Dickie 🙂❤️🙌🏼🙏🏼.

Looking back at a fantastic and fulfilling week at Brancaster with Time Team. Some of our favourite moments ❤️🎉🥰

The Time Team dig at Branodunum Roman Fort provided the opportunity for the most astonishing demonstration of geophysical prowess ever seen on a Time Team dig (or anywhere perhaps) and here Jimmy shares just how improbable and magical the whole thing actually is, describing how Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) works ❤️ 🪄 ✨

We’ve loved watching Alice Roberts develop new and interesting ways of presenting archaeology, historical puzzles, and science and we can’t wait to see what she does next 🙂🥳🌈
