I’m on a mission to give Welsh-made businesses Big Brand Energy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I’ve spent years in the trenches—working in-house and for agencies across different continents and industries 🌏 From fin-tech to local heritage brands, I’ve seen what it takes to actually move the needle

I believe Cymru has enormous potential, but for a nation to thrive, its small businesses need to do more than just survive—they need to lead

You don’t need a massive corporate budget to win anymore. But you do need creative ideas rooted in strategy and experienced direction 🥊

Too many businesses are waiting for AI to do the heavy lifting, only to realise that "generic" doesn't sell. Without a real story and a sharp strategy, the competition will always outpace you 🤷

Welsh business owners — you have 4 days to register to vote 🗳

The Senedd election on 7 May is the most consequential one for small businesses in Wales in years. New voting system. Real numbers on the table. And some promises from parties that genuinely don't add up when you look closely 👀

Swipe through 👉 — we've broken down the numbers that actually matter for your business, not the spin.

✅ Register by Monday 20 April at gov.wales (5 minutes)

📖 Full guide comparing the main 6 parties' SME related peldges dropping before 7 May

If anyone tells you your vote doesn't count — remember where you come from.

It’s a massive "Dewi vs Goliath" day for Cymru! But while the team battles on the pitch, there’s a choice to be made at the taps.

Listen to Dewi explain why Welsh businesses already benefit from the underdog mentality before they even open their doors 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

But this video isn't just to explain our agency's story; it's also designed to demonstrate to small businesses what kinds of advertising are accessible and affordable to them now 😮

This video took one person a day in between other tasks, with a minimal cost to create – it's not perfect, you can find defects in the video, but AI doesn't need to be something that just takes people's jobs, it also can be a great leveller for small businesses to compete with the Goliaths 🥊

Big creative agencies are already using these tools for larger businesses to create videos, but that doesn't come with a drop in price for smaller ventures to get offered the service – we're doing the opposite, trained and experienced in agencies, we can come up with big ideas and show you what's possible for your business ✊

Give us a follow, we are going to be posting a 'how to' for videos like this and other ways small businesses can take advantage of what's out there 👀

Lots of small businesses feel invisible

Here's what we changed for the small Welsh children's charity, Adenydd 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Let’s be honest: The "Goliaths" of your industry have a seemingly endless budget, even large non-profits walk into big ad agencies, searching for creative ideas

But for a local Welsh brand, especially one with social aims, every penny—and every view—has to count

We’ve been working with Adenydd for 9 months, bringing"Big Brand Energy" to their social media

The goal wasn't just to "post more," but to build an impression that communities, partners, and funders could trust by meeting families where they are – making their online presence as warm as their in-person one

The results?
📈 183,298 Views – That’s enough to fill the Millennium 2.5 times over
👥 5,024 Profile Visits – 5,000+ people walking through the "digital front door"
🚀 19,000+ Views in the last 30 days on through Meta alone

The "Dewi vs Goliath" Difference:
Whether you’re in hospitality, retail, or trade, your business deserves to be seen

To do that, you need someone who actually understands your story and your audience

Whether you’re in hospitality, retail, or trade, your business deserves to be seen

Ready to grow together?
We're looking for another Welsh brand to take on this month

Saint David said, “Gwnewch y pethau bychain.” Do the little things.

Most small businesses don’t have a marketing or even branding problem. It's just often they lack time, so don't focus on consistency, but this is actually a small change that will have a big impact.

Often, you've already paid for a logo and had to choose colours and a font at the same time. Then your social feed, website, and print drift in different directions just with the icon put in the corner.

That drift actually costs trust for the public and builds confusion among potential customers.

The examples in this post show what happens when nothing “major” changes — no rebrand, no big spend — just tighter alignment across the small details (Dewi Sant would have loved them).

Clearer structure.
Consistent visuals.
Stronger positioning.

Perception shifts. Engagement follows.

If you’re running a business in Cymru, today is a good reminder: before investing in something new, tighten what you already have.

Small actions compound.
