🥾 We’re stepping out for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance! 🚁💛

On September 8, team members, alongside family, friends and even a few four-legged companions, will be taking on a 10-mile walk along the Taunton to Bridgwater Canal to raise funds for our Charity of the Year, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The Big Conversation on Care is part of the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care and aims to give people across England a direct voice in shaping the future of a proposed National Care Service.

Between now and April 2027, the conversation will gather views from people who use care services, unpaid carers, families, care professionals and members of the public.

These questions include who care services should support, what role families should play, and how care should be funded fairly and sustainably in the future.

☕🍰 KES IS BACK THIS MONTH!

Our multigenerational project KES returns from Tuesday 8 September, meeting at Avenue St Andrew's URC Church, The Avenue, Southampton, SO17 1XQ.

📅 Tuesdays during the autumn and spring school terms

🕝 2.30pm to 3.45pm

KES is a friendly social group where people of all ages come together for tea, cake, conversation and activities. Most weeks we’re joined by Sixth Form students from King Edward VI School Southampton, creating a wonderful opportunity for different generations to connect and learn from one another.
