As 2026 looms ever closer here’s one last look at 2025!

Outside of web design and graphic design, I’m constantly looking for ways to create! Generating ideas and finding ways to bring them to life is endlessly exciting to me. So here’s a look at some of the personal projects I took on in 2025 🖤

* This year I learned how to use Procreate, for both drawing and animation, a skill I plan to build on in 2026!

* Jellyfish disco ball came to life after I was asked to collaborate on a London club night with a jellyfish themed room.

* Luck Tash Hot Pot Restaurant branding, menus & signage were all part of a pop up hot pot restaurant for a birthday party. This was such a fun way to use my graphics skills!

* Pumpkin painting has become an annual tradition for me. It’s a nice way to welcome autumn with friends and it’s always fun seeing how different people approach it.

* Lino cut has found its way back into my creative repertoire and this wrapping paper was the first of many custom prints.

* This summer I used bleach painting to breathe new life into some second hand finds. So cheap and easy.

* My biggest personal project of the year was designing and making/sourcing the puzzles and decor for a pop up escape room at an event. It took 3 days to install!

* This cloak was made from fabric I salvaged from a scrap store to wear to a spring festival. It took a full day to make.

* An interactive bank vault door made for a themed party. When the handle was turned, all the cogs also turned.

And that’s a wrap! What projects do you have planned for next year?

I love collecting art prints and art books and here are some of my favourites from this year!

* Art print by , bought from an art shop brimming with prints that I stumbled upon in Berlin. So much detail, I could and have spent a long time gazing at it

* Letterpress print by purchased during an open studio weekend on Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, the words really resonated

* Art print by from an art market in , Brighton , I loved this print so much I bought two!

* Lino print by , I won this print in a competition after I saw her work at an art fair in Brighton and it made my whole week.

* ‘Story Teller’ photography book by Tim Walker, after seeing his collaboration with Tim Burton as the Design Museum I decided I needed this book. I saw an exhibit of Tim Walkers work at years ago, and it’s still one of the best exhibitions I’ve ever seen

* Lino print by , a birthday gift that is permanently on display on my desk 🖤

* ‘In The Gutter’ by Val Hennessy, a book I found at a flea market in Arundel that documents punk culture through photography

* The opening quote from ‘In The Gutter’ by Oscar Wilde because it was too poetic and beautiful to omit

Oat Milk’s Top 5 exhibitions of 2025!

Wes Anderson - Design Museum, London
[This exhibit is still on and well worth a visit. The level of detail, down to commissioning custom book cover art for fictional books is just awe inducing]

Artist Studio Open Weekend - Eel Pie Island, Twickenham
[Only open 2 weekends a year, this is somewhere to put on your radar. Enjoy art, whimsical architecture and sculptures, and in island brewed mead]

Jim Sanders - Spirit House, Brighton
[Part of Brighton Open House summer season, Spirit House was a truly immersive experience. Every inch of the walls, ceilings, outdoor space, were impeccably curated and considered. We were treated to intimate music performances that hushed audiences and I left feeling I’d experienced something magical, secret, and ephemeral]

Tim Burton - Design Museum, London
[As a long standing Tim Burton fan, this exhibit was a dream come true. The cherry on top was seeing work from Tim Burton’s collaboration with one of my all time favourite photographers, Tim Walker. Stunning]

Lucy Le Brocq: Unfolding - ONCA, Brighton
[I loved this exhibition and how some of the portraits were paired with poetry. The photography itself was beautiful and powerful and the stories that accompanied it added depth and insight. ONCA, now closed, will be missed]

What exhibits should I have my eye on for 2026? Share your top tips on exhibits, galleries, and museums from anywhere in the world!

Celebrating just over a year of Oat Milk!

In the last year I've had the pleasure of working with people all over the world to create beautiful websites, logos, email signatures, neon signs, festival wristbands and a few other surprises that I can't post just yet!

Now seems like a good time to share a little of my story and why Oat Milk exists.

What feels like so long ago now, I finished a design degree, and I felt completely unequipped to go out into the world and be a designer.

After a couple of years of trying to convince myself that I didn't really want to be a creative professionally I did some soul searching and decided to follow my second love, animals!

I quit my day job, booked a flight to New Zealand and proceeded to try out every type of animal care job you can imagine. I loved it but there was still something missing.

My favourite type of animal care was looking after people's pets while they were away on holiday, but on it's own it just wasn't sustainable. That's when I knew I needed to go back to school.

I started teaching myself to code at 6am each morning before going and prepping food for 200 animals at an animal sanctuary I was volunteering at and built my first website since my degree for them.

Sitting coding, surrounded by animals, was the life I wanted (and the life I have!).

Whilst still living in New Zealand I applied for a professional development course in Digital Design with a focus on web design in Brighton.

Two months into my course I started working for a web design agency and rapidly accelerated my learning. When I completed my course I got my first freelance client within a month and Oat Milk was born!

As this project grows I want it to be a space for creativity and authentic expression.
As a team of one I have the luxury of being able to see a project through end to end and create something personal.

I'm so grateful to each and every client I've had and have. An exquisite collection of talented performers, creatives, educators, and now friends.

Thank you so much to from for marking the occasion by taking my portrait as part of the Qu**rs for Palestine fundraiser!

What a lovely way to begin the week!Kind words from happy customers make all the hard work worth it.Thanks .nz
