All my Seaford friends, if you haven’t seen this, please forward to everyone you know to sign. My mum along with so many other elderly people rely on over the counter banking.

Seaford is about to lose its last remaining full-service high street bank when the Halifax branch closes its doors on 19 January 2026. This will leave our town without any full-service bank, putting local businesses, older residents, and those without digital access at a serious disadvantage.

Lovely flat seas this week have enabled us to get some good swims in. Despite the dropping sea temperatures i swam 1.4km and could still feel my hands and feet after.

Noah and his dad live on BBC Sussex bright and early this morning talking about his aspirations to get to the Paralympic Games with ParalympicsGB at LA28. Tomorrow 11 May will be the 5 year anniversary of Noah's fall 30ft off the railings on Brighton Beach. He has had to learn to walk and talk again and is currently training in shot put, cycling and very soon Frame Walking. Noah has a Go Fund me page to help with his rehabilitation and journey.

An amazing story came to me recently and I knew I had to offer my services. 5 years ago, 23 year old Noah Rees fell off the railings on Brighton Seafront. At the time he was Captain of the rugby team at Newman College and wanted to become a professional rugby player. Noah has spent 5 years rehabilitating, learning to speak, move and walk again and now he is on his journey to become a Paralympian. Tomorrow morning at 08.20, he will be live on BBC Sussex talking about his goals and challenges with a great bit of humour thrown in.
Please help Noah to re-build his life and achieve his dream to get to LA28.
