’Tis the season to be thankful, to smile, and to reflect — while recognising there is always more to learn.

I was grateful to attend the festive business drinks at the Houses of Parliament, surrounded by ambassadors, diplomats, and guests from across the UK and beyond. It was a wonderful evening to share with Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia, His Imperial Highness Prince Michael Aisin-Giorio, and the many people who made the occasion, including Elizabeth Sillo who led us beautifully into the Christmas spirit through song.

On behalf of Your Sanctuary I would like to thank Liz Perkins for her continued ambassadorial support and for bringing people together with such generosity and purpose. Moments like these remind me of the value of connection, reflection, and curiosity — especially at this time of year.

And yes — there were plenty of smiles. A quiet reminder that gratitude, openness, and learning from the experiences and wisdom of others are gifts worth carrying forward.
