Just a few trees...
Last week, Lewes Town Council unanimously approved a motion granting several rights to trees, including the right to life, to flourish, to be restored and to complete natural life cycles.
Could the next decade see a new revolution in nature protection?
Yew trees can live for thousands of years, sometimes lying dormant for hundreds of years.
Forest trees of different species communicate and share resources with fungi whose threads connect them together and transmit warning messages. This magical link is called a mycorrhizal relationship.
Don't you just love the wonder in that?
