Harrild Imperial Octavo treadle platen located in Brighton UK. Price £650. Platen prints sheet approximately 11 x 7”. Three rollers in good condition plus 3 chases. Ink fountain in situ but could be removed for short runs, similarly you can print with 1, 2 or 3 rollers. Press could do with a tune - oiling and new packing - but no real issues. Situated on ground floor of Victorian terrace; you will need a pallet jack and strong fellows to move it out of the house and into your vehicle, it will also need to be put onto skids to facilitate the move.

Another pasta spread drying – this time the author’s fevered imagination has printed the tubular pasta ‘Occhi di Elefante’ referencing the Old English paper size Elephant (23 x 28 inches) with a nod to the term Elephant being used to describe ultra bold typefaces. A Bodoni Poster comma conveniently rotates to form a diminutive member of the Elephantidæ species

Incline Press have some very nice foundry Madonna Ronde Bold for sale in it’s original packaging on eBay at the moment - all towards their pending move over the Wall. I’ve bought various weights already - the fount come with some splendid ligatures. No, I’m not on commission!
