Bozboz's upgraded office space is really taking shape!

Our floor has had a significant upgrade, the new meeting room is ready for guests - and we're putting the finishing touches on another room in the building for team expansion (or co-working if people need a base when they're in town).

We're also thrilled to welcome three local creative brands to Bozboz HQ; Michael Cheetham (Amity Weddings, Amy Wonnacott (Lemon Drizzle) and Danielle Quijada (SoCo Marketing Collective - Digital Marketing and Multimedia Storytelling Services).

We look forward to having friends, clients and new visitors to the space.

"I am a full-stack developer originally from Hong Kong, with 8 years of experience in the industry. I work across PHP (Laravel), React, WordPress, and Shopify to bring functional, high-quality web solutions to life.

We recently conducted our 'Voices of Business' survey, where we interviewed retail business owners, directors and senior marketing managers to find out what's really happening out there.

There's been a lot to unpick since we started gathering data, and several months on, we're hearing the same things..

1. Market saturation is making it harder to stand out.
2. Marketing and visibility challenges persist across multiple industries.
3. AI is disrupting search
4. Oversupply in some industries is forcing price reductions.
5. As footfall declines, investing in digital is imperative.

1. Nail your visual identity - you only have a few seconds to make a good first impression. The science of branding goes beyond logo design - creative decisions should be routed in strategy, this includes understanding your sector, audience, competitors, SWOT, brand perception and unique value proposition.

2. Building a best-in-class site requires strategy too - this is the single most important aspect of any website project. Lean on specialists to help you map out the overarching objectives of your site - from aesthetics to tech, hosting to testing.

3. Invest in great hosting - not all providers are created equal. From improved site load times to better data protection and security, premium hosting provides peace of mind and improved user experience.

4. Work with a proactive support partner - to evolve at pace, good development support is a must.

5. Implement a CRM - moving away from spreadsheets and disconnected marketing tools helps to streamline efficiency. Automation can remove manual tasks so that you can focus on the bigger picture.
