The foundation for the new brand identity is developed around the 16:9 frame – the industry standard for the film and tv industry. From this, a versatile grid system and visual language was developed, adding depth and cohesiveness to Mission’s communications.

→ NEW WEBSITE NOW LIVE

It's been a weird 6 months, huh? The recent pandemic and its implications work-wise enabled me to finally focus on updating my website. Naturally, what started out as a simple portfolio update became an entire site redesign. Well, I'm proud to finally share it and showcase just some of the new projects and clients I have collaborated with.

In the past few days I’ve been sat at home wondering what I personally, and the design industry in general can do, as problem solvers to help growing pandemic situation. I felt compelled to create these simple typographic posters, but hesitant to post them since I don’t want to trivialise the subject at hand and for this to be about self glorification or creative promotion, far from it. But the message is clear and vital, and the more people that are exposed to it, and the more people that consume and adhere to it, the better.

I’ve included the web address to covidmutualaid.org, where the vulnerable and in need can find local support.

I know times are tough, but if other creatives do have the time or capacity to take on a similar brief, perhaps we can spread message even further.

As part of the brief, I also helped to develop an identity beyond the existing logo, creating a cohesive brand through typography, colour palette and imagery. These icons were also created to help communicate Illuminate’s values.

Last year I was approached to design and launch a brochure website for new mental health and wellbeing business, Illuminate. Illunimate implement workshops and provide support for various organisations who wish to build and integrate a more mental health-focused culture. In order to do this, Illuminate required a simple website that communicated their mission and approach.
