These are all easily fixed, but if you’re a business owner these three things are all too easy to happen when working with freelancers. As a freelancers it is our responsibility to make brilliant work for our clients. But to produce world class results there are some things that really help. These three things are often mitigated by having a really good relationship with the freelancers you use, this can often mean that a subscription is the best option to retain consistency in the work and the results they bring the business.

It’s a weird part of doing work on a freelance basis. You need to add work to your portfolio to get more clients. But the work you do sometimes isn’t able to be shown on a portfolio let alone be posted. This is for me where a lot of my personal and spec work comes in to show off skill without showing the work.
Are there any freelancers that arnt photographers that have this problem?

What makes a client good to work with?
a question not so easy to answer but one I was have thought about after it was asked by .creative

Here are the three things I look for in a photography client

1: They already know what the images are for, where the work is going to sit, what purpouse will it serve.

2: They have worked with creative freelancers before, it means they understand costs and timelines more than the ones that haven’t.

3: Finally clients that give feedback based on mesurable metrics helps narrow down the apraoch next time.
