VC - The original Camper Competition company - Changing lives, one camper at a time - New winners every two weeks 👌🏼 After that moment, VannyCampers was born.

We created the concept behind VannyCampers after spending five years transforming a blank panel van into a complete off grid campervan, we had spent hundreds of nights in her exploring the UK and beyond. We reached a point where we needed something bigger but didn’t want to just sell her, so we decided to perform a private prize draw competition. Over a period of five weeks we shared our pictures and stories about our times in Vanny the VW on our social media pages and received an immense amount of positive feedback and love. At the end of the competition, we performed a live draw and selected a winner. A few days later the van was to be picked up by Darren (the winner). We were very sad to see her go but the excitement of handing her over to the new owner and seeing his genuine excitement, disbelief and pure elation of winning the van touched us deep down. It was then, that we decided we wanted to give others the opportunity to win that sense of freedom that we had experienced by owning a campervan but for an insignificant amount of money. This is Newt 🖤 our first EVER VC in-house build, and he's brand new with delivery miles only. Built in our own workshop in Bristol with 400Ah Victron lithium, 440W solar, a full wet room and a pop-top double, he's ready for his first adventure with you.

Newt is the first EVER campervan to come out of the VannyCampers workshop in Bristol. He's a brand new 4 berth VW Crafter with delivery miles only and comes with two proper doubles: one up in the pop-top, and a sofa that pulls out into a very long double bed.

Inside there's a full wet room, a solid timber kitchen oiled by hand, an 85L fridge freezer and an oven that air fries. With 400Ah of Victron lithium, 440W of solar and no gas on board, you could stay off-grid for a very long time.

We've spent years giving campervans away. Now we've upped our game and built one too!

Thanks to you legends, we'll be donating £500 to Trees for Streets 🌳

Trees for Streets has one simple goal: to fill our streets with trees. It was set up by the charity Trees for Cities and Start with Local, and it works with councils across the UK so residents, businesses and community groups can sponsor street trees in their own area. They're aiming to help plant a quarter of a million trees over the next decade. More trees mean cooler streets, cleaner air and happier neighbourhoods, and they reckon every £1 spent on trees saves the UK £7 in healthcare, energy and environmental costs.

We loved what they do so much that VC will also be sponsoring our very own tree in our local area 🌱 We'll keep you posted when it goes in the ground!

What a Tuesday. Joe Getliff was packing for a two-week trip to Japan, flying the very next morning, when we rang to tell him he'd won £25,000. And here's the bit that made the whole studio smile: Joe has spent the last four years building his own camper from a Transit, so when he's back from Japan, the winnings are finishing that build. Safe travels, Joe. Send us a photo from Super Mario World.

Then Zachary Clifford answered from Lanzarote, mid card game with his parents, to find out he'd won SIRUS. His mum Sue got the news live on air and took it brilliantly, considering she didn't know he'd been entering. That is exactly why we do this. Facebook we know the stream dropped but the full vid is over on YT & Insta for ya, plus we'll share a vid of the call tomorrow for those who missed it.

And a word for Michael Robinson, who won the £500 site credit back in August, a Jackery before that, and has only gone and won the £500 credit AGAIN tonight. Bertha clearly has a favourite. Mikey, buy a camper or big cash ticket.

This week's charity is Trees for Streets, who work with councils so residents and communities can sponsor trees in their own streets. Cooler streets, cleaner air, happier neighbourhoods, and we're sponsoring a VC tree around the corner from HQ too. £500 going to a brilliant cause.
