Email Design Breakdown: Alvies

Here's the email breakdown πŸ‘‡

1) Email Headline

"LEATHER THAT LASTS FOREVER"

Instantly solving the customer's pain point and getting to the point.

2) Header Image

3 different pairs of boots so the customer can choose his favorite.

3) Copy/Body

We wanted to make the body copy very conversational and enjoyable.

I want to draw attention to the "What more could you want" part.

So basically we can use rhetorical questions to make a point.

When someone reads a rhetorical question, it makes them think.

And that's what we WANT!

We want the prospect to think, so we can convince them.

4) Product Highlight Section

We wanted to visually highlight their products again.

Short and quick GIFs always work!

5) Testimonial Section

To build more social proof around their products.

6) Benefits Section

I call this the "Still not convinced?" section.

It works very well for high-ticket products.

7) Products Section

The customer can choose his favorite pair of boots here by clicking on the picture/CTA.

Email Design Breakdown: Solo Coffee

I love Solo Coffee because they always think outside the box with their marketing.

Their vintage-inspired content really speaks to me, and I love all the memes they create.

Here's the email breakdown πŸ‘‡

1) Email Headline

"FIGHT MONDAYS LIKE BRUCE LEE"

Very simple, unique and catchy headline.

Now imagine seeing this campaign on Monday morning.

I bet it would make every "not-so-morning-person" smirk.

And as you know, getting attention to your campaign within the first 2 seconds is crucial, right?

2) Header Image

A picture is worth 1000 words (and thousands more dollars).

This email campaign was inspired by Bruce Lee (showing that Solo Coffee is as powerful as Bruce Lee).

And because of that, we also had to visually show him.

I love what our designer did here.

It's a cropped out picture of Bruce from one of his action scenes while holding Solo's coffee shots.

As if he is signaling that his power comes from Solo Coffee.

3) Copy/Body

We wanted to keep this section veeeery simple. Simple, catchy and resonates with the overall idea of the campaign.

4) CTA

It's a unique & fun action-oriented CTA.

5) Product Highlight Section

We wanted to visually highlight the product again.

We also added features of the product that are easy to read.

6) Testimonial Section

--

So, next time you're feeling down on a Monday morning, remember to check out Solo Coffee.

With their coffee, you'll be able to take on the day like a real warrior.

Email Design Breakdown: The CrunchCup

I like this email for a couple of reasons. Let's start from the top:

1) Email headline

We started this email with a strong statement:

"Great cereal deserves a great cup."

This hook resonates with their audience and addresses their need for the product.

With the subheader, we drew more attention to the product itself and what The CrunchCup can do for them/what The CrunchCup is all about.

2) Header image

It's very visually striking and relevant. We also added a few cereal and milk effects to it.

3) Email content or body

I'm a huge fan of emails that are clever, concise, and to the point.

Instead of adding a boring Q&A style text there, we decided to spice it up with a messenger-type FAQ style text.

Not to mention that it delivers value to the customer.

Below the FAQ section, we added a section that makes it really emotional for the customer.

"Make your life a little bit easier"

4) CTA

I LOVE creative call-to-actions!

Everybody has seen the boring "Buy Now" or "Shop Today" type of CTAs all over again already.

Try to avoid them.

"GIVE ME LIMITLESS CEREAL"

It's personalized and action-oriented.

--

Overall, I really like this email because it's simple but visually striking and personalized for the subscriber.
