Social media ad spending is expected to reach $49 Billion by the end of 2021!
That’s an increase of around 21.3% since 2020. The reason the ad spend is on the rise is to do with the effect the global pandemic is having on businesses.
Despite many businesses cutting their advertising budget early on in the pandemic, elevated use of social media by consumers due to national lockdowns prompted many to rethink their strategy and invest more in social media in order to capitalise on the increased reach.
