🎉 Celebrating three years of Tom at SBW! 🎉

As our Senior Account Manager, Tom is a natural project lead who keeps even the most complex briefs moving smoothly from start to finish.

Over the past three years, he’s been instrumental in bringing impactful projects to life, including the Gloucestershire Hospitals Midwifery campaign video, which went on to win two awards last year 🏆🏆. A huge achievement, and a real testament to his calm, considered and detail‑driven approach.

And when he’s not steering projects at SBW, you’ll likely find him silversmithing and showcasing his handcrafted creations at artisan markets.

We asked Tom to sum up his SBW journey. His answer? “Loved it.”

Wales is officially Switched‑ON ♻️

Workplaces across Wales are now required to separate their small waste electrical and electronic equipment (sWEEE) for recycling, a simple change that can make a real difference.

We’re proud to have created, planned and delivered a pan‑Wales awareness campaign with the Welsh Government to help businesses get ready, Switch‑ON to the change, and understand what they need to do.

As the new law comes into force, targeted digital activity continues to support awareness and keep the message clear and practical.

Together, small actions add up… and together, we can make a difference!

Today we’re raising a huge toast to Ian, our Director of Operations, who celebrates a whole decade of the good stuff with SBW.

Analytical, unshakeably calm, and a natural problem solver, Ian is the reason our systems run like clockwork and our teams have everything they need to do their best work. From refining processes to strengthening our ways of working, he’s spent ten years quietly, and consistently, making SBW better.

He’s the person you want in your corner, steady, thoughtful, and always two steps ahead. And when he’s not keeping the agency running smoothly, you’ll probably find him on the padel court, bringing the same focus and competitive spirit.

We’re proud to be helping businesses across Wales lead with confidence and grow with purpose.

Over the past few years, we’ve partnered with Business Wales to shape the strategy, creative approach and media delivery of a national campaign that positions them as the go‑to support for anyone starting or growing a business in Wales.

Our insight work highlighted a recurring challenge: small business owners often wear multiple hats at once, finance, staffing, operations, marketing and more. This campaign is designed to reassure people that they don’t have to do it all alone. Business Wales offers practical guidance, digital and AI support, and tools to help businesses build skills and thrive.

A huge thank you to our amazing SBW team for bringing this multi‑channel campaign to life, and to our production partners On Par, for supporting us in bringing our concept to life on film.

The latest phase is now live across TV, OOH, radio, digital and social, and we’re excited to see it out in the world 🙌.
