A little Sniffari update 🐌 🐝 🌳 🐾

It seems A Garden Sniffari has somehow appeared on Amazon with a tempting little “Buy Now” button... despite the fact that Amazon doesn’t even have my email address to let me know about any orders and certainly isn’t involved in sending out any books right now.

I’ve been trying to get the listing removed, which has felt a bit like brushing your teeth while eating biscuits but I’m having no luck so far - they won’t take money, it will be “pending” but you won’t get a book and I will never know about it.

Thank you to everyone who has messaged me to say they’ve spotted it or even placed an order. Without those messages, I’d never have known it was there in the first place.

One day I may decide to go down the Amazon route, but it would mean making changes to the look and feel of the book. So much love, time, and hard work has gone into creating A Garden Sniffari exactly as it is, and I’m not quite ready for that yet.

Sorry Jeff B, but currently you’re not invited on our Sniffari and quite frankly your percentage eats into the Gravy Bone budget, and we can’t be having that 🦴

A little non-skincare-related post from me this evening, but I couldn’t not share this 🤍

As a small business owner, one thing I’ve come to appreciate more and more is just how much courage it takes to put something you’ve created out into the world. Whether it’s a business, a product, a service, or in this case, a book, there’s so much time, effort, self-doubt, hope and heart poured into it behind the scenes.

One of the simplest but most powerful things we can do is support our friends and family’s businesses. A like, a share, a recommendation, a purchase, a kind word, it all matters more than you probably realise.

One of my dearest friends has recently written a children’s book called A Garden Sniffari, and Elijah has absolutely loves it.

The story is beautifully written, the illustrations are gorgeous, and it shares such a lovely message about friendship, embracing differences, kindness and finding where you belong. The kind of message I’d love every child to grow up hearing.

Watching someone you care about turn an idea into something tangible is incredibly special, and I’m so proud of what you’ve created Suz 🤍

So if you have little ones, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, I’d encourage you to take a look.
