We sat down with Ben Mottershead, director of Studio BND ( ) to find out more about the challenges of living with ADHD as a creative, advice on how to tackle unpaid internships and his refusal to sacrifice his own identity for the sake of fitting in.

Ben goes into detail about his own mental health struggles, and discusses how leaving the confines of a 9-5 agency was one the the most helpful things he did:

“Once I left that environment, I found all the personality traits that I was often reprimanded for, we're actually rewarded when it came to leasing with my own clients and building a business".

For all the talented creatives out there who struggle with the symptoms of ADHD and are finding the 9-5 thing just isn't working for them... this ones for you!!!

As a small, independent business owner I want to thank everyone for your support and positivity over the last couple months.

Running an educational creative platform with our small but dedicated team has its challenges but our awesome community of students and passionate creatives are what keep us going every day.
