We specialise in delivering clean, accessible and visually engaging web design solutions to businesses who strive for a positive online existence. We’re experts in visual communication, and the fundamentals of good design permeate our work. They are built from scratch using the world’s favourite web platform, WordPress. They’re mobile friendly (responsive) and search engine friendly; they promote

user interaction. All of our web design solutions come with a tailored content management system (CMS) allowing clients to manage their content themselves. We also create strong, unique brand identities and produce beautiful branding material, with passion for typography, grid systems, hierarchy, detail and colour being the driving forces behind our work. We’re based in Bristol at Spike Island, and we serve clients in Bristol, Bath, and further afield.

Some awesome celebs kindly helped with the voices of some of the characters, Parker the Dog’s voice is none other than the fantastic Tony Robinson!

At Winter Design we are flat out creating amazing websites and brands, and we never have time to look after our social media or create case studies on our website.

You’ll be self employed or studying at undergrad or masters level, with the ability to manage your time effectively in order to fit this work around your other commitments.

The work will be ad-hoc, work from home, super flexible and friendly, in a company with strong ethical values.

We’re looking for a new designer to join our team on a freelance basis.

We are specialists in creating custom WordPress websites which we design from scratch and build from scratch. We also design brand identities, branding material and packaging.

The role is flexible; our work fits around our lives, not the other way around! We are all currently working from home.

The right attitude is valued over experience. The ideal candidate will be inspired, efficient and reliable.

Here’s a not-so-fun-fact; greenhouse gases created by the internet are EQUAL to the amount made by the global aviation industry. Who would have thought it? We’re a team who are passionate about the environment, so knowing that we’re doing our bit to help is important.⁣

We now offset 720kg CO2 every year for every client website that we maintain. This offsets enough CO2 to ensure a carbon positive status for each website. ⁣
