Good morning peeps! And happy 2022! (Even though its nearly Feb, just shows how behind I am)

Last year I took most of it off on maternity leave, getting fully immersed into fanily life. He's now turning 1 this week 😭 which is leading to a lot of reflection on the last few years and planning for the next few.

I love this kind of season in life. I'm such a planner, and I love planning (aka daydreaming) about where things could go. If four years ago I was told how my life would look now, I would have laughed! I'm working out my next laughable four year goalpost.

I've been working on some great projects the last 18 months which I've not had energy to share, if I'm being honest. Self promotion has not been a priority at all - just sheer survival 😂

Things might look a little different around here but it will still be loaded with smiles, projects and serotonin inducing colour! 🌈

Doing some set design and art direction next week for a regular client. Prepping some flats for a splash of colour on Monday! Some jobs require me to look at a computer screen all day, but for this my only tool of the day was a paintbrush! Refreshing!

Hello! I thought I would post an update with everything I've been up to since I last posted in June last year, as I realise I have not posted in a very very long time!!!

My freelance work fully took off about November last year when I got my first regular big client, Elizabeth Shaw. I was employed as their freelance designer and photographer for all things social media and marketing. In January I did a full lifestyle shoot to produce all new stock imagery for their new biscuit range and since then have been working with them on their social media, online presence and producing their adverts for Sainsburys and Tesco.

In February I gained my second regular client and joined the team as a designer at Something More, an amazing Christian creative studio that work with YWAM, Soul Survivor, Union, Word Alive, Focus, Crosslands, HTB etc. It's been such a fulfilling journey combining my skills and faith.

In-between balancing these two clients I designed some social graphics for the author of Called to Create, branded and produced marketing material for Releaf, rebranded a few schools, worked with British Heart Foundation, Amigo Technology and Imperial College London.

In May I was headhunted and started working with film and TV company Aspect as the Art Director for some adverts for Fujifilm Instax. Art Directing on this level something I've always wanted to do and was probably the peak of my career so far. After such a good response from the team and from Instax, I have been invited back to Art Direct another 8 adverts in September, with the potential for this to become regular work.

To say the past 10 months have been a whirlwind is a complete understatement, but it's been the happiest, most thrilling and enjoyable time of my life.

Thank you to everyone who's encouraged me, supported me and loved me and my work throughout my years of study and working! It's because of you guys, and my now amazing clients I get to "work" and do what I love every single day.

Here is the werkhouse class of 2017! What an amazing experience.

Two weekends ago me and 31 other selected junior designers and students were welcomed in to Taxi Studio to join 20 creative directors and senior designers for a weekend of idea generation and skill building. Split into groups, we were given a brief and 2 days to come up with a creative solution before presenting.

The aim was to give us a flavour of what studio life is really like, and how this compares to our uni or educational experiences.

Such an amazing experience to be a part of!

Just would like to say a Merry Christmas and blessed NY to all of my followers! 2016 has been an amazing year for me, but I wouldn't be going where I'm going without every person who supported me this year! I'm so thankful for your support, from comments of encouragement to collaboration and giving me opportunities. I'm so excited for what I have planned in 2017 and can't wait to share the next part of my creative journey with you all!

Have a blessed weekend! 🎄
