Hello! I thought I would post an update with everything I've been up to since I last posted in June last year, as I realise I have not posted in a very very long time!!!
My freelance work fully took off about November last year when I got my first regular big client, Elizabeth Shaw. I was employed as their freelance designer and photographer for all things social media and marketing. In January I did a full lifestyle shoot to produce all new stock imagery for their new biscuit range and since then have been working with them on their social media, online presence and producing their adverts for Sainsburys and Tesco.
In February I gained my second regular client and joined the team as a designer at Something More, an amazing Christian creative studio that work with YWAM, Soul Survivor, Union, Word Alive, Focus, Crosslands, HTB etc. It's been such a fulfilling journey combining my skills and faith.
In-between balancing these two clients I designed some social graphics for the author of Called to Create, branded and produced marketing material for Releaf, rebranded a few schools, worked with British Heart Foundation, Amigo Technology and Imperial College London.
In May I was headhunted and started working with film and TV company Aspect as the Art Director for some adverts for Fujifilm Instax. Art Directing on this level something I've always wanted to do and was probably the peak of my career so far. After such a good response from the team and from Instax, I have been invited back to Art Direct another 8 adverts in September, with the potential for this to become regular work.
To say the past 10 months have been a whirlwind is a complete understatement, but it's been the happiest, most thrilling and enjoyable time of my life.
Thank you to everyone who's encouraged me, supported me and loved me and my work throughout my years of study and working! It's because of you guys, and my now amazing clients I get to "work" and do what I love every single day.
