It’s so great to have clients like Tina from ✨

I met Tina after I got a terrible haircut from Tony and Guy and her salon managed to fix it for me and give me a hairstyle that I’ve kept going for over 7 years. She did my hair when I got married and has been a regular client of mine for around 4 years when I started doing her loyalty cards, which we needed to get specialist printing for. I’ve since worked on many projects with Tina and recently did a photoshoot with her and her team and have more plans for specialist projects in the future.

We regularly meet at our local Costa to discuss new ideas and just have a general catch up. THIS is why I love doing what I do. Working with fantastic clients who I can form friendships with and see their businesses bloom.

🚀 Throwback to one of the first logos I ever created! 🚀

I had the opportunity to design the logo and visual branding for Bilton Bathrooms, a company that’s all about perfecting bathroom aesthetics using colour. They were really focused on making sure all their designs matched specific RAL colours which at the time I didn't know much about at all! For those who might not know, RAL colours are like a universal language for colours—super handy when you want everything from paint to plastic to look the same.
But, matching RAL colours to RGB and CMYK (which are basically the languages screens and printers use) was a whole new challenge for me. I had to dive deep into the world of colour conversion and work closely with a few specialist printers to ensure that everything from the business cards to the signage looked spot on and there was a lot of trial and error. It was a learning curve, but I loved every minute of it!

The cherry on top? We ended up with this awesome 3D sign that was the perfect finishing touch. I only got one close up of the finished sign but it give you an idea of how it ended up.

Looking back, this project taught me so much about design, printing, and the importance of getting the details just right and that's why I love graphic design. There's always something to learn!

Hello all! I recently bought my first set of brushes for my digital art programs and I have to say, I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner! I felt inspired and so created this artwork for a friend. Do you do much digital art and if so, do you have any brush sets that you just couldn’t live without?

Finished creating a new logo for the wonderful LR Wellness today. This is the first one I’ve done digitally from start to finish as I usually start designing with pencil and pen. It’s also the first time I’ve done “live designing” where you design as the client guides you. It was a really interesting process and definitely not for the feint of heart 😂
Software: sketchbook for iPad and affinityphoto
Hardware: iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and MacBook Pro.
