Learned about PRS and music licensing the other day. Found out that most small artists are unaware of this, or aren’t submitting their setlists. Some venues even take this into account when deciding how much to pay artists.

is a Bristol-based 4-piece band. Formed in 2019, the group’s play doom metal and psychedelic sounding space-rock.

When asked about their song, ‘Dyson Sphere’, Stefan from Orcon commented, “it sets up a story about a child with the power to view time as non-linear and villain’s attempt to use her power for evil.”

The band’s next shows will be September 26th in Frome and October 3rd in Newport. We’re looking for another Bristol show after playing The Lion in April.

Orcon’s music is available on Bandcamp and YouTube. ‘Dyson Sphere’ is also available on the Bristol’s Local Artists YouTube playlist (link in bio).
